Ninth Division Captain's Office

"I am not going to show you anything, Lieutenant Shuuhei." Tenshin looked from the lieutenant to the mask resting on the table. "This mask is my zanpakuto. It can reveal nothing to you."

"What have you found out, Ozaki?" interrupted Ryo.

"No. What's he talking about, Captain? The gate keeper business, I mean."

"There are not many gods, Lieutenant. Three gods for every ten Shinigami. Three gods for every thirty hollow. Those are the odds. Shinigami and hollow, we outnumber the gods. So, they pit us against each other. Tasked us with exterminating each other. They call it our nature. And, this is all to protect themselves."

"Ozaki."

Tenshin bowed slightly as he retrieved a piece of paper from his belt. "I was able to follow the hollow into Las Noches." He unfolded the piece of paper, revealing  a hand drawn map of the realm. He laid it flat on the desk and pointed to an area he had circled. "This area here, there is where I followed him. Right now, there are six different reaitsus and seven beings."

"Excuse me, Captain." began Tenshin. "What is the point in my telling Captain Kurotsuchi what I have learned, if you do not intend to stay?"

"What?!" shouted Hisagi. "What the hell do you mean she doesn't intend to stay?! She's my Captain!"

"It is not your decision, whether Captain Komamura stays. I understand that what we have told you seems...Odd. The gods making Shinigmai those who stand against the hollows. Gods using both hollow and Shinigami for their own gains. It's all hard to understand. But, those are all facts. And, those facts are among the reasons Captain Komamura has chosen to step away from the Gotei 13."

Hisagi stepped toward his Captain quickly, "But this is insane! Even for this reason, you can't leave, the Gotei 13 needs you," he then turned and looked away from her, "Your reasons don't add up to me, you can't just leave your own division behind like this..."

"And, what should I do, Hisagi? Sousuke Aizen, Gin Ichimaru, Vale Tervaden and Kita Miyamoto have caused so much damage to these realms. And, not one of them have been brought to justice for their crimes. It is the duty of every man within the Gotei 13 to do what must be done to protect this realm and its people. We've failed our people, Hisagi. My children will not grow up believing that we have done everything to protect this realm. Because, we haven't!"

"I just, where are you going to go? You'll be counted as a traitor and they'll come straight to me trying to figure out where you went. I mean come on, Captain! I don't mean disrespect, but what am I supposed to do? I trust you with my life, but I'm not going to help you... But I'm not going to stop you," Hisagi hung his head and slowly looked back up, "But you can't say some of us haven't done everything to protect our home, regardless if this realm is full of deception.."

"Your first target is.... Gin?" Hisagi tilted his head, "I see your point, but is this truly necessary? Someone will try to stop you, Captain. What if they don't accept your petition? What if they get to you before you kill Gin? As I said, I'm not going to protect you if you do go through with this, I can't turn my back on the Soul Society like you're doing."

Hisagi grabbed his Captain's hand and looked into her eyes, "If you do this, please be careful, Captain. I beg you not to, but I know you're going to. I can't betray the Soul Society.... But I'm certainly not going to help you," He shook his head and dropped her hand.


"Looks like Squad 9 has lost yet another Captain," He nervously chuckled and looked away.

Hisagi smiled slightly, "Well, there is nothing that isn't to understand. Your plans are straight forward, you are dead set on this. I can't stop you, and I feel like even if I tried, I'd be pushed aside like anyone else that will."

"I want your help, Hisagi. You're my Lieutenant. You're my family. I trust you with my children. I can trust you with this. Right?"

"I... I can't say no to my own Captain," Hisagi hung his head, "Alright, you can trust me. Like you always have," He sighed loudly and looked into Ryo's eyes, "I can't hurt my own family."

"Lovely Sins":

-All Hollows Eve-

Among the multiple alleys inside the Ninth Division, a dark shadowed figure darted throughout them. Mere seconds after a tall light haired, skinny man saw the shadowy figure, he ran. He had heard the rumors going around about the man aiming people with multiple lovers. He knew the dangers of it and he still did it because of the thrill. He knew that this figure had claimed most of his friends and even some of the higher ups.

The shadow appeared in front of the man, he froze and fell to his ass, "You will be punished for your sins."

"N-No!!! Please no!" He frantically started to crawl backwards, trying to avoid his assailant.

The shadowy figure lifted his hand, knocking his hood off, revealing a bright white skull, "Kang. You deserve to die for putting others' hearts at risk. You will die for you sins."

The man named Kang looked horrified at the skull, "Please no! I'll change! I will!"

The skeleton man shook his head, laughing, "You won't change. You simply won't!" He then grabbed his scythe before resting against the top of his victim's head, "Kang, I sentence you to death!"

All that was heard was a scream before blood splattered the walls and the streets around them. The skeleton laughed at the man below him, blood dripping from his scythe.

-Halloween-

Rangiku sat in her room, humming contently to herself as she got ready for bed, she looked into the mirror and saw a shadow flash across her line of sight. She quickly lashed around, looking for her sword, "Who is there?"

"Why no one, my dearest," A hiss came into earshot, a dark figure arising from the dark hallway, "Why didn't you return my feelings from so long ago?"

Rangiku stood strong, glaring at the figure, "Who are you? What do you want?"

The figure grinned, letting the line and 69 tattoo start to glow brightly, "Know who I am now, Rangiku?" He moved his arm, letting his scythe gleam in the seemingly endless shadow.

"Hi-Hisagi, what are you doing?" Her eyes started to fill with terror.

"My dear," He stepped into the room slowly, revealing the dark cloak and the tattoos, "I have been roaming the soul society correcting the sins made on love."

"That was you!?" Her terror filled eyes went to anger as his words rang across the room, "That isn't you, Hisagi! What is wrong with you!?"

"Nothing is wrong!" He swung his scythe, cutting into her arm as she inched towards her sword, "I am perfectly fine!"

Before Rangiku could say another word, Hisagi's bony, chilled hand, was against her throat, "You're so adorable. The fear and anger in your eyes is fantastic. It is a pity you rejected me with every turn."

Hisagi lifted his scythe, and before he could bring it down, a hand firmly shot out and grabbed it, "Stop it Captain Shuuhei."

"Who are you to tell me what to do!?" Hisagi turned around to see none other than Renji Abarai, "You're kidding me."

Renji went to say another word as Hisagi kicked him in the gut, "Why are you here!? Are you with her as well as Rukia!?" His glowing eyes hardened into a mat color, "Then you shall die too!"

Renji flew to the other side and hit the wall hard, Rangiku cried out as he hit. Hisagi growled at them both, "Die you worthless sacks of meat. Meet my bankai. Something neither of you could beat." His words were hard as he threw the scythe into the shadows, causing it to bounce and travel through the other shadows, tearing his two targets completely to shreds.

A few minutes later, Hisagi stood in the center of the room, covered from head to two in blood, "They have paid for their sins.... My job is done here." He walked into the shadows and disappeared, leaving the evidence for everyone.

Ryo picked up the bell and let it roll around in her hand. "You allowed your comrades to enter a dangerous situation after discerning my true request." She closed her hand around the bell and looked to Kikyo. After a few moments, she rose from her seat and walked over to him. "So, did you do something wrong?"

Oda hesitated to answer. "I thought it competition, Captain."

Ryo nodded. "It was but not amongst yourselves. I said that I needed to know how the four of you worked together. And, instead of working together...Instead of relaying the correct information to your comrades, you kept the information for yourself in order to gain an advantage."

"Captain..."

"I don't mean to scold you, Kikyo." Ryo opened her hand. Kikyo took the bell from her. "You listen. You have a talent for discerning the meaning of things. That is your role in this." She smiled.
