Ryo was quiet as she watched the boy. He stood still with his head hung and his fists clenched. "Oda Kikyo...This is the first part. Not even a mission. Just training. And, you already seem so defeated. What am I to do with you?" Ryo adjusted her haori before placing her hands in her lap. The boy remained silent. "Fine...Go to Lieutenant Shuuhei. Tell him that he chose wrong."
"That..." Oda looked to his Captain. "That seems harsh in comparison to what was done."
"I asked what should be done, Kikyo. And, you said nothing." Ryo leaned forward, resting her hands on her desk. "Now, either you accept this or you don't. But, I think you've made this far more complicated than need be because you're riddled with guilt. It is what it is, Kikyo. Now, reward or...Go to your Lieutenant?" Just as Kikyo opened his mouth to speak, the other three burst into her office. They all fell over each, fussing and cursing.
"What the hell kind of training is this?!" shouted Etsuya, spring to his feet and bending backwards. He held his back. "You nearly got us killed! And, I'm not sure where the hell Kikyo is..." Etsuya stopped speaking when he spotted Oda standing in from of the Captain's desk. "Oh hey, Oda...Did you give up before we did?"
Ryo rose from her chair. "Gentlemen!" she shouted at the two still on the floor. "Have you lost your minds?! You do not just barge into my office like a pack of animals!" The Tanimoto, Suga and Yonezawa scrambled quickly, taking their place next to Kikyo.
"Our apologies, Captain!" Etsuya looked to his Captain. "But...What is Kikyo doing here? Did he talk a bell from Captain Zaraki before we did?"
"Kikyo came to express his concerns over the difficulties of your first training session. He saw the potential harm in going against Captain Zaraki for something so small.

"Eh..." Etsuya put all of his weight on his staff as he leaned forward. "You could have told us you were doing that before we went off to get our asses handed to us. We didn't even make it to the Captain."
"Ya know," Suga folded his arms over his chest and hunched forward. "That ain't fair if he gets the reward." Suga nodded as he looked to Unkei. "Yeah. I know."
"Share?!" shouted Etsuya.
"Tanimoto..." Ryo shook her head. "Do not yell in my office."
"Un says we all have bells." answered Suga with a nod.
Etsuya was quiet as he grew silent. Quickly, he placed a hand to the small pouch at his waist where he kept his mint leaves. A small bell. "Suga? You've got one?"
Suga tapped the metal headband resting across his forehead. A small bell hung by his ear from the headband. "Yeah..." he nodded. "Unkei's got one too."
Unkei patted his chest pocket.
"So, wait..." Etsuya grew quiet again. Suddenly he chuckled. He snatched the bell from his pouch. Then asked both Suga and Yonezawa for theirs. He then asked for Kikyo's. With four bells rested in the palm of his hand, Etsuya extended his hand to his Captain. "Like ya asked for, Captain..."

"You're not a dimwitted as you act." Ryo smiled as she took the bells from Tanimoto. "Well damn." Etsuya laughed. "I have to try harder then." "Please don't." Ryo sets the bells to her desk. "So, I suppose the thought here is that I reward all four of you because you figured out what I was actually asking for?" "I think that it would be fair," Oda spoke up. "If we started over." Turning to his friends, Oda sighed. "I tried to turn in my bell before you all came. I then learned that this was a lesson in sharing information with you all...As we are a team. So, I suppose that this me sharing information..."Ryo nodded. "The reward for being the first to bring a bell was a conversation with a Captain of your choice. A bit of encouragement, if you will. Most Captain's agreed to it. So, who gets the reward? I can not give to all four of you." Etsuya sucked his teeth as he turned away. "Eh...Give it to him. He did it. Even if he put us all behind him to get it done." "That's not what I did..." said Oda."Gentlemen..." Ryo interjected before any bickering began. "Kikyo, you have the night to decide which Captain you would like to speak with. You all are dismissed." Ryo watched as Suga, Tanimoto and Yonezawa left her office. Kikyo stayed behind. "I don't want to hear it, Kikyo. You rang the bell. You set this in motion. You chose to ignore what you-" Oda cleared his throat as he interrupted his Captain. "I understand, Captain. I set whatever comes next into motion. I will be better prepared for it. I just wanted to give you my answer.""Now?" Oda nodded. "I would like to speak with Captain Komamura...The other Captain Komamura, ma'am."Ryo nodded with a smile. "I will let him know. Is there anything else?" She watched as Kikyo nodded and lowered himself into a bow. "Then, you're dismissed." Kikyo left. Picking up one of the bells, Ryo sighed. "That wasn't a complete failure. But, still a failure nonetheless." Ryo shook the bell in her hand. Someone knocked on the door. Sajin opened the door to the Captain's office and stuck his head in. "My Ryo...It's late. We have just enough time to see the pups to bed, if we head home now."Ryo smiled. "Alright." Ryo met her husband just outside of her office. He picked her up and placed her on his shoulder. "Kikyo would like to sit and speak with you." "Oh?" Sajin chuckled. "We'll worry about that later. Now, we go home." The two vanished with a quiet flash. END RP "Noble Assassins?"

Bleach Unrated: REBOOTEDCurrent Arc: RejectionEpisode 432 "Helping Hand": It was about an hour before the end of the day as Hisagi walked down the corridor to his boss's office, she had sent notice for him to visit her office before he went home for the evening.
Arriving at her office door he lifted his hand and knocked on the door, waiting for permission to enter. When he received permission he slid the door and stepped into the room. He closed the door behind him and bowed to his captain.
"Captain Hirabayashi," Hisagi greeted her, he stood erect and smiled. "You wanted to see me before I left, Captain."

Ryo rubbed her temples as he she looked at from her paperwork. “A quick word, yes.” she said, offering the Lieutenant a seat.
“Captain Zayasu was seriously injured yesterday in the human realm. We cannot leave his division unattended. And since he has no Lieutenant of his own, I was asked to see if my own would cover.”

Taking a seat in front of his captain's desk, Hisagi nodded slowly. "I heard the news about that. I also heard former Captain Coda got hurt as well. I hope they're doing well."
“They are both…Alright.” answered Ryo. “I hear it was the work of a Quincy. Or hollow…They’re not really sure.”
Hisagi's head shook, "damn." he looked pointedly at his captain. "Well, if you do not need me here and do not object to me covering for the eighth division," he paused with a heavy sigh. "How long do you think I will be over there?"

“That, I can’t answer.” Ryo sighed and leaned back in her chair. “The Captain’s wife…From what I understand she was poisoned and is missing most of an arm.” Looking to her Lieutenant, Ryo smiled.
“I am sure you’ll do a fine job in Zayasu’s stead. Also, if you should find the time, perhaps take an additional load off the Captain. Find him a good candidate for Lieutenant.”

"I have no doubt that I will do fine in the eighth division. It's my responsibility to Seireitei Communication that has me bothered." Hisagi sighed, "Fuu has another interview with Kita coming up and she is supposed to start on that article soon after."
He shook his head, "I just want to make sure Fuu stands by her promise to everyone. She is an excellent journalist, but she gets overly ambitious and writes things in her articles she shouldn't, and with this story--" his head shook again, "it's a make-or-break story. It can't be deterred from one way or the other. She needs to have a close eye on her when she starts to write the article."

Ryo nodded slowly. "You either trust Fuu to do the task. Or you don't. As Acting Captain, the Seireitei Communication would not be a priority. Considering what it means to you, either turn down the role or postpone the interview until Zayasu is well. But, the man will not leave his wife's side."
Hisagi sighed as he weighed the factors. To him, both were equally important, and he was not going to let anyone down. Fuu or the captain, his or the division eight captain. He nodded slowly, "I will cover for Captain Zayau, and in the evenings I will tend to the Seireitei Communication and Fuu." He looked pointedly at his captain with a confident smile. "This will work."
"While I admire your drive, I don't think I was clear." Ryo clasped her hands together and leaned forward in her seat. "Choose one. Acting Captain or the Seireitei Communication. I hold nothing against you should you choose to go with where your heart lies. It is something that brings you joy. I can not fault you for that. But, the Eighth will require your undivided attention."

Hisagi gave his captain a confused look, "I apologize Captain. I don't want to seem insubordinate, but what I do on my time should be of no concern or cause issues with the attention the eighth division would need." He kept his tone even and respectful, "I delegate my responsibilities between my duties as a lieutenant and my duties as a publisher very well. I know a captain's position is much more demanding, but I have juggled, both, the responsibilities of the Seireitei Communication and the captain's position, here--in my own division--for decades, and not to toot my own horn."
He looked at his captain pointedly. "I did very well."

"By all means, celebrate the achievement of managing the men of the Ninth. Your own division. While camaraderie is encouraged in the Gotei, it is something different to lead another division. Furthermore, the publication of the Seireitei Communication is done as a part of the duties of the Ninth." "Which was my idea, and just because I am covering for the captain of the eighth does not mean my lieutenant duties are null and void." his tone was still even and respectful toward his captain. "The Seireitei Communication is my responsibility.""It is a duty within of the Ninth." Ryo said sternly. "With you as Acting Captain of Eighth, the Ninth will be without a Lieutenant until the moment of your return. Which means that it is not your responsibility. A temporary consequence, Lieutenant." Ryo rose from her seat. She adjusted her haori, all the while keeping her eyes locked on the Lieutenant sitting in front of her. "Clearly your heart is with the Seireitei Communication. And, I would rather not take that from you. We will look for another to act as Captain of the Eighth." Hisagi stood and bowed to his captain, "so be it." He stood and looked at his captain. "Is that all Captain Hirabayashi?"Ryo continued to look at her Lieutenant. He was not happy. "That's all." She watched as he left her office and slid the door closed behind him. She was unsure if this was right decision. But it was done. END RP "Blended Family"

Bleach Unrated: REBOOTEDCurrent Arc: RejectionEpisode 499 "Retrieval": Ryo rubbed her temples as Captain Kurotsuchi left her office. He as he walked away, she could still him yammering on about his distrust of anyone but his own division's members to retrieve his lab. He carried on like an unhappy child, going on about he was only allowing the Commando Unit to take care of it because the Commander had already denied him permission to do it on his own. The man's voice was like nails on a chalkboard. But, at least he was gone. "I have children, Shuuhei...Twins...A third on the way..." mumbled Ryo. "And, I can confidently say that I have never, nor will I ever, experience a tantrum like his in all my days...It's incredible." Ryo shook her head and continued to rub her temples. "They're here, Captain." said Hisagi as he cleared his throat. Ryo waved a hand. "Bring them in." Hisagi opened the door and let in the four members of the Ninth's Commando Unit. "Yonezawa, Suga, Kikiyo and Tanimoto..." Ryo rose to her feet. The four bowed. "Thank you for coming. I'll keep this short." Ryo sighed and rubbed her shoulder. It was aching from her sparring match just an hour earlier. "Your first mission." She watched as the four tried to mask their excitement. "The four of you will assist in the retrieval of Captain Kurotsuchi's laboratory. Considering none of you can not physically bring back an entire building, this will be a grab and go operation. The Captain has provided a list of the most important things to bring back... if possible. And, I do mean if..." Hisagi handed each of them a list of materials and information for the men to bring back. "Yonezawa, Suga...You two are the only ones entering Hueco Mundo. Kikiyo, Tanimoto, you two are to wait on the this side of the garganta. The moment you two suspect anything is wrong," Ryo looked to Yonezawa and Suga. "You leave. You two," Ryo turned her attention to Kikiyo and Tanimoto. "Nothing gets in behind them." Hisagi walked over to each of the member's of the Commando Unit and wrapped a special band around each of their left arms. "We do not have the Captain Commander's permission to do this. So discretion is important. You must move swiftly. Our Captain Komamura is counting on each of you. Represent her well."Ryo smiled as each of the four stood proudly before her and their Lieutenant. "Go. Your Lieutenant will supply you with your uniforms. Dress and go to the Twelfth. Captain Kurotsuchi is preparing for your immediate departure." Moved

Bleach Unrated: REBOOTEDCurrent Arc: The ChaosEpisode 516 "Three Days Past": (continued) Fuu stood outside Captain Hirabayashi’s office, her heart pounding softly in her chest as she hesitated. The walk here had been brief but heavy with thoughts. She had replayed the last few days over and over in her mind, wondering what she would tell her captain about her divided attention. It wasn’t as though she could reveal the truth—the deal she had made with the Koriyamas was too delicate and dangerous to mention.
Taking a deep breath, she straightened her uniform and knocked on the door. She waited for the approval to enter."You may enter," Captain Hirabayashi called out, her voice calm but firm. Sliding the door open Fuu stepped in and closed the door behind her. In turning she offered a respectful bow before Captain Hirabayashi’s desk. Her captain's sharp gaze met hers, making Fuu's stomach twist slightly. She knew this wasn’t going to be easy.
Fuu's mind still raced, searching for the right words. She couldn’t tell the truth, but she couldn’t lie outright either. She stood there, the weight of both her responsibilities and secrets pressed down on her.
She waited for her Captain to address her first.

Ryo smiled as she looked to the young woman sitting on the other side of her desk. "Third Seat Fuu Ayumu. A gifted writer and talented investigator....A truth seeker...Troublemaker..." She chuckled as she leaned back in her seat. "The last is something I imagine Captain Kuchiki calling you, in a way that only he can...You are indeed meddling in noble affairs."
As Ayumu opened her mouth to speak, Ryo raised a hand. "Why don't you tell me telling what you plan to accomplish here..."

Fuu sighed, her gaze dropping to her hands as she gathered her thoughts. "Yes, Captain," she began softly, "I’ve been assisting one of the noble families." She lifted her eyes to meet her captain's. "They’ve requested my investigative skills for a matter that’s been troubling them for quite some time—a situation they want resolved discreetly."
"Hm..." Ryo hummed. "And, you agreed to assist, obviously..." she gestured with her hand. "That's why we're here, isn't it?"
"Yes, Captain," Fuu nodded slowly, her voice steady but laced with strain. "My attention has been... divided these past few days. I assure you, once I fully settle into this investigation, things will return to normal." She sighed, glancing down briefly before continuing. "I’m just struggling to keep my thoughts focused between both duties."
She looked up quickly at her captain, "but only for now, that is."
