Drawing closer Rangiku's room Kisuke could sense Gin in the room with her. Hearing what she told him as they stepping in the room Kisuke offered his two cents.
"Why thank you Rangiku, but I never thought of myself as a dried persimmon." He looked to Gin with a look of 'no commentary from the peanut gallery' as he and Juushiro walked in the room.
"I brought you a visitor." Kisuke told her. "And how are you feeling? Nothing new on the injury list was there?"

Rangiku giggled again looking over to Kisuke and her other visitor. "Kisuke, Captain Ukitake. What a surprise. How are you feeling today Captain?" She slid her legs aside and offered him a place to sit on the edge of the bed. "Sit. You do looked a little tired."
She then looked over to Kisuke. "Nothing new. Just a twisted ankle and the bump on my head." She paused shortly, "does anyone know anything about this new espada I told you about that took Kita?"

The captain attempted refuse the seat, but Gin moved swiftly aside and pushed him down. He grinned down at Rangiku as he stood next to Kisuke. "That's nothin' you need worry about now, Ran. Just eat your treats and smile."
He gave an elaborate bow, making his captain raise an eyebrow and her laugh. "The clown and fox of Soul Society will handle that part of the day, "he declared. Before she or Kisuke could say anything, he snagged the shopkeeper's kimono, leaving the room with a wave of his hand.

Juushiro shook his head and looked around at the gifts on the lieutenant's lap. He chuckled, smiling softly. "For all his faults, that kid truly does care for you, Matsumoto," he murmured.

Rangiku looked to the captain and smiled warmly as she picked up the flowers and took in their sweet scent once more. She looked the way of the door. "The feeling is mutual. I just wish he would stop running from it." Her words soft spoken, but she knew Ukitake heard her well.
She then looked quickly back to the captain. "Please tell me they are plans in the making for going after the girls?"

Juushiro set a hand over hers. "Yes, there is," he replied firmly. "It will take time, time I know we don't necessarily have, but we are moving to save them. Trust me on that."

"Hai..." Rangiku replied softly with a nod of head. "At least they won't have to stay there too long." Rangiku smiled brightly at Juushiro.
"Oh?!" She looked around the room like she lost something. "Dang it! I wanted to ask Urahara if he had seen Tsukiro. He left the shop in a rage when he found out about Kita. Tsukiro was too quick and I could not catch him before he disappeared. I don't know where he went. I hope he did not attempt to go to Las Noches without back up."

Juushiro chuckled shortly. "I can assure you, Matsumoto, he did not. He interrupted a captains' meeting instead," he stated, with a hint of nonchalance.

Rangiku's eyes widened as she gasp. "He didn't?... Did he?... Really?" Juushiro only nodded at all her questions.
"That boy has more nerve than I do. KUDOS TO HIM!" She replied with a giggle as she swung her arm in front of her.

"Perhaps it was brave, but it did not help his case when he ignored a direct order the from both Captain Hitsugaya and the Captain Commander," Juushiro cautioned her, voice low.

Her face became blank as she looked to Juushiro. "I understand, but when it is someone you love you think beyond reason. Even when you speak against higher authority. He was only follow his heart and his fear of losing her."
She looked toward the empty door. "I know just how he feels."

Juushiro nodded and squeezed her hand. He rose as a medic came with a clipboard. "I'll leave you be so you can get checked out," he stated. "Be careful on your way home."

She watched him leave as the medic started going down the list on the clipboard.

"Reaping The Subject":Kurotsuchi walked in the Fifth Division Captain's room at the Fourth Division, seeing him heave again. His veins bulged, his extremities green in color and spreading slowly across the rest of his body. His eyes were bloodshot as he quickly turned his head glaring at Kurotsuchi.
"I see you took my dare, Captain." Kurotsuchi tilted his head and looked at him through wide eyes as he rubbed his chin. "My my, I must say this was more than I expected to see from a side effect. I wonder if it had an adverse effect on you?"

"Come a little closer, quack, and I'll show you what your adverse side effects are," the Visored growled, eyes turning golden despite him not being able to call up his mask.
Truthfully, it was the best threat he could come up with, with his limbs feeling like rubber and his zanpakuto being confiscated in another rage attack. He was glad his lieutenant hadn't visited yet with the way his fury was rolling through him like waves of hot iron pulsing through his blood.
