3rd Division, Intelligence & Information- The 3rd Division is the unit that are responsible of the act of sending out shinigami to gather information, and sometimes work in cooperation with 2nd Division agents on more serious missions. They are also the ones that sort all outgoing and incoming information before sending them to the 12th Division for storage. Adding to this, they are in charge of the jigokuchou monitoring and message system. |

"Missing Object":
Captain Mutsu entered her office seeing the stack of new paperwork on her desk as she shook her head with a bright smile across her face. "It seems my work will never be done." She walked around behind her desk and sat down opening a few draws. She was looking for something and was sure she put it in her desk drawer. However, she was having no luck in finding it. She opened another drawer when a knock came at her office door.
"Enter," she called to them in her normal gentle tone.

A young woman with long, flowing brown hair pulled up into a bun with part of it hanging down her back and wispy fringe walked in with a flourishing bow. She wore a black kimono with a wide, white obi with violet flower patterns, and a long black skirt that was longer in the back and shorter in the front, flowing out behind her like a tail. Instead of sandals, she wore violet and white wedges. She was very curvy with a fair bust. In her arms she carried several documents. A bright, friendly smile painted her face.
"Good afternoon, Captain Mutsu," she said sweetly. "Eighth Seat, Azaya Tenshi here to deliver today's completed documents."

Nori returned her smile to the 8th seat Azaya Tenshi, "Hello Azaya, your chipper today."
Sliding the drawer closed on her desk she stood walking over to the 8th seat. Nori then reached out offering to take the files from her .
"You must have heard from that young man again you talk so highly of." When Azaya handed her the files Nori turned placing them to her desk.

Azaya's cheeks flushed a light pink as she turned her head slightly away. "Yes. He had need of my assistance the other day. I was more than happy to help. He has done so much for me, the least I can do is come to his aid when he has need of me." She placed her hand over her heart, closing her eyes. "I would give my life to make his dream a reality. He has already done the same for me, now I wish for it to be his turn."
She said these words with such sincerity and heart that there was no disputing that the man Nori spoke of meant the world to Azaya.
Azaya tilted her head at the captain's desk, which was usually prim and proper. At that moment, the drawers were pulled open and files were overturned. "Captain, are you missing something? Can I be of assistance?"

Nori smiled warmly listening to Azaya speak of the man in her life. She could tell she loved him dearly. "It is so nice to hear of a love as deep as yours. There are so many that don't even acknowledge such emotions. You two will live a long happy life together."
When she asked about her desk and a missing object Nori looked at her desk and laughed softly. "Yes, I have miss placed my hair comb. I have a captains meeting I have to be at soon and I did not want my hair all in my face. I was sure I left it in here."

Azaya gave a small laugh, covering her mouth. "Oh no, it's not like that. He is special to me, but we are not a couple or anything." She turned, walking around the room slowly as she cast her eyes around, looking for the captain's misplaced comb. "He is... my mentor you could say. But, in all honesty, it would take a man like him for me to start dating. He is very strong and unrivaled in leadership. Many people follow his lead."
She saw a bright sparkle gleaming from one of the bookshelves. She walked over to it and plucked it from off the top of a book. "Is this it, Captain?"

Nori smiled and walked quickly over to Azaya. "Thank you so much for your help, Azaya." She took the comb from her hand and started pulling her long silver hair back on the sides placing the comb to the center top of her head.
"He sounds like a man the Gotei 13 could use. We do have open Captains seats." Nori laughed and lowered her hands after placing the comb in her hair. "Don't we wish it was that easy?"

By accident, or just as a result of her uncontainable amusement, Azaya let a tight grin slip by for only a brief second before correcting it to a sweet smile. "Yes. I am sure he would make a great captain if he were interested in the position."

Nori noticed the out of place grin on Azaya lips but wrote it off at that moment. She turned with a nod. "Yes I am sure. A Captains position is not for everyone. It can be very trying and sometimes right out annoying."
She walked over to her desk and straightened it up once more closing the draws and placing files in there proper places. Once she was finished she gestured to the door as she step from around her desk.
"Shall we. I need to get to this meeting. I would not want the Captain Commander to come looking for me because I was running late. He may never share his sake with me again." Nori laughed softly as she slid the door to her office open and the two stepped out.

Azaya laughed as she put a hand to her mouth. "I don't think he would write you off his drinking buddy list simply for being late. He doesn't seem like that kind of man." When they reached a fork in the corridors, Azaya bowed deeply to Nori. "Well, I wish you the best of luck in the meeting, Captain. Good night."

Nori bowed her head to Azaya as she watched her turn and head a different way. "Thank you, Azaya."
Nori then turned herself and started her walk once more toward the Captains' Assembly Hall. She had a few minutes left to get there she was sure she would make it as long as she was not stopped along the way.

"Laying Out The Bait":
Nori sat at her desk waiting for lieutenant Izuru to show as she lifted from one of the files she was reading. He was to report to her today on his findings from the rumours they had started. From what Nori was hearing they were not doing to well. Everything they were spreading was already on the tongues and ears of everyone in soul society. She sighed closing the file as she turned her chair and looked out over her division. Another sigh crossed her lips.

Izuru walked up and knocked softly on his captain's door. When he heard her invite him in he entered the room. He bowed to her and stepped in front of her desk.
"Captain Mutsu I don't have much to report here I am sorry to say. Everything that we started was already a float around the Gotei 13. No one is really coming up with anything we don't already know."

Nori sighed rubbing her temple. "I feared as much. I was not hearing much on them either." She looked up at Izuru from her desk. "Start the next wave of them. Spice them up if you have to, but we have to have more than what we already know." She then tilted her head with a questioning look. "Have you seen Eighth Seat, Azaya Tenshi lately?"
