Loki ripped through the First Division cutting down anyone that stepped in front of him, both swords swinging like mad. He was out for blood, but the blood he wanted was not in the Soul Society. It resided in Karakura, but he was not about to let a good slaughter go to wast. With the news Koga gave him of Aizen, Vale, and Gin, Loki was out for more than just blood. First he would finish here with their heads then move on to bigger better prey.
Kisuke, Gin and then take possession of what once was his.
He spun bring both swords around, cutting three of the on coming soul reapers in half. "BRING ME MORE!! MOOOORREEE!!"

"Reign over the Frosted Heavens, Hyorinmaru!" A wave of cold air and ice blew over the Espada, freezing him as he turned towards the Captain. "If you think you will take one step further, you are wrong." Hitsugaya pointed his blade at the frozen Espada. "This war was won by the Soul Society. Now, is a time for peace." Hitsugaya shunpo'd over to the Espada, swinging and aiming his blade at his neck. Before his blade could fall, Histugaya's eyes fell on the bare form of Hinamori hanging from the roof of the First Division.
"Hinamori!"

Loki looked at the child Captain standing before him as he looked up to the young girl hanging above them. With his attention drawn to her Loki busted free of his ice trap, sending the shocked and appalled pipsqueak lurching back as he swung both swords at him.
"She a beauty ain't she?" Loki shrugged. "Well; if you like small tits that is." He laughed attacking the Captain again and took to the rooftops.

Hitsugaya stumbled back as the Espada freed himself of the ice and took to the roof tops. He looked to Hinamori hanging from the First Division, tears streaming down his face as he tried to decide whether to fight the Espada or tend to Hinamori. His thoughts broke as he heard the familiar growl of his fellow Captain.

Sajin growled loudly as he shouldered the Esapda, knocking his from the roof. "You have done more than enough damage, Espada!" he shouted bearing his fangs and claws as he leapt from the roof onto the Espada. "Die here, or go back to where you came from!" Sajin slammed his fists into the Espada's chest, not giving the Espada a chance to turn tail. "Die!"

Loki was crushed into the ground with the powerful hit from the massive fist into his chest. When the soul reaper withdrew his fist, Loki only smiled up at him as both swords came up and he cut into the balled hand of the giant man.
"You bastards will never learn. I HEAL TOO FUCKING QUICK FOR YOU ASSHOLES TO HURT ME!!"
Loki disappeared standing on the rooftop again. This time above the nude soul reaper girl, hanging above them. He grinned at the the ones that gathered below as one of his swords came up and sliced through the rope holding her in place.
"Catch assholes!"
Loki laughed as the girl fell to her soon death as he disappeared from sight.

Moving faster than the distracted Captain, Sajin shunpo'd and caught the falling Lieutenant. He quickly removed his haori and covered her with it. "Captain! Gather yourself!" he growled, shaking Captain Hitsugaya from his shocked state. Sajin sniffed the air. "He is still here." he looked around with narrowed eyes. "Where are you, Espada?"
"There were two Espada." Hitsugaya took the Lieutenant from Komamura. "The Seventh. He left. Perhaps, this Espada followed his lead."
"Sev-" Sajin howled and slammed a fist into the ground. "Why here? After this war has ended...Why?"

"Because someone else has taken the crown and gathered his troops," Juushiro murmured with the the captain commander and Nanao behind him.
He shook his head at the wrapped sight of Hinamori. "I had hoped she would have been spared more pain from this war." He walked over and set a hand on her forehead. "And she's sick." He sighed. "We waited two weeks to regain our strength and let our guard down."

"We had hoped that they would take longer to recover from our attack than this," the captain commander growled. His eyes narrowed to flint. "All combat units are to patrol and send word at the first hint of hollow blood." A guard at his side nodded and started to prepare a hell butterfly.
He walked over to Hitsugaya and set a hand on his shoulder. "I know you would wish to stay by her side, but you are one of the best hunters we have, Hitsugaya. Your instinct is needed in another matter. Will you gather your troops and search for the enemy?"

Hitsugaya sat still, holding the Lieutenant close. He looked to the Lieutenant Ise, who took Hinamori from him as he stood. "Please, take care of her Lieutenant." Hitsugaya took a deep breathe as he turned to the Captain Commander, stilling himself. "I will. I will need to the help of Captain Ashimitsu and his stealth force."
The Captain Commander nodded.
"Captain Komamura, I will need your strength as well." stated Hitsugaya.

Sajin sniffed the air and growled lowly. "You have it, Captain." He brought his fists together and bowed. Rising from his bow, he placed a gentle hand on Hitsugaya's shoulder. "Worry not, Captain. She will be well looked after. And, the Captain Commander is correct. You are among our best. We need you of sound mind."

As Captain Hitsugaya turned away from his friend, his lieutenant and third seat appeared at his side. Rangiku choked up at the sight of the carefully wrapped, feverish form of her friend but firmed her mouth and nodded at Hitsugaya to show she was ready. Suzume paled, staring in shock and disbelief before her eyes and stance hardened. She would cut any enemy who dared to step in front of her. She would avenge her best friend.

Toshiro looked to his Third Seat, her eyes narrowed with determination. "Suzume...I-" The alarm went silent. "Captain!" He looked to the Captain Commander who pulled his hat over his eyes.
"It seems the Espada have moved on." he said, adjusting his hat. He gave a long sigh. "Let's gather those who are injured and move them to the Fourth Division."
Toshiro looked at Hinamori in the care of Lieutenant Ise. He looked away quickly. "Will she be alright, Lieutenant?"

Nanao turned to the child captain and his officers, her eyes sad behind her spectacles, sympathetic. They would be hard-pressed to find someone not affected by Hinamori’s plight. “Captain Ukitake has done what he can for her fever, and thankfully, it has lowered; however, she won’t respond to any stimulus or wake even a little.” She sighed, wiping her spectacles of a stray formation of moisture. “Hitsugaya-san, we have done all we can do until she is settled at the Fourth Division.”

Juushiro looked out over the landscape, his own hand still pressed to Hinamori's, feeding her a steady stream of healing warmth in hopes for her to at least flutter her eyes. Smoke clouds dotted the azure horizon and he could hear orders echoing around them, even the patter of many feet as squads moved out. His eyes moved to Hinamori again. Of all the people to be hurt by in another war of Aizen's, she had been the one who they had needed to protect the most. She'd suffered the last two times.... and now it had happened again. He closed his eyes. It left a black stain on the day .... even when Aizen was no longer of this world. |
