Yorusuke nodded not a shimmer of emotion showed through with the news the Commander just told him, "yes, Sir. I should have no issues with controlling my temper and emotions on this matter. I am completely detached from the ones involved." His head then shook slightly. "Although. If Tervaden where to harm someone. I can make no promises. After all, it is my job to protect the ones who cannot." He took a sip of his tea lower his cup as he smiled.
"Stay out of sigh and blending in will not be an issue either. As a kid it was always a dream of mine to be a Ninja." His smile grew brighter. "From what I was told I was pretty good at it." His head then cocked with questioning eyes, "where will I be stationed? Will I be staying with the substitute?"

Shunsui chuckled. “If you think that the Kurosaki’s won’t mind you, I see no reason not to station you there. And if that doesn’t work, I am sure Urahara’s shop will have space available in exchange for some labor. Either place would be a good resting point.”
The commander set a hand on his shoulder, eyes slightly narrowed a moment later. “You are not to attack Tervaden under ANY circumstances as long as you are on this mission, Nagano. Protection comes in many shapes and forms, and your death is not one of them I would encourage. If you see anything suspicious, you report it to Urahara and he will take the measures necessary.”

A white bird rested on the edge of the roofs, spreading its wings before folding them to its sides. Its head twitched, as its eyes focused on the conversation between the two men. It watched and listen intently as it bounced along the roof's edge.
"How curious. Watching a shadow, tiresome work. Futile, even."

Yoruskue smiled, "a little hard labor is good for the soul. It builds character. I would be pleased to help out if Urahara needed me to. Not to mention, since I am to be on vacation. I can take in the sights while there."
His smile turned to a sly grin. "I hear there is plenty of eye candy in the shop--I mean sights; in that town I can take in." He looked to the Commander making sure he took that as a joke and hoped he knew he would take his mission seriously while he was there.

Shunsui chuckled again and walked over to the desk. "You can enjoy the 'sights' as much as you wish," he murmured with a wink, "as long as it doesn't interfere with the mission at hand and you don't bother said protectors of the sights. I would hate for your impeccable taste to result in a scolding and visit to Kotetsu-san~"
The white bird unfolded and spread it's wings. He hopped from the roof and took flight, leaving the men to their conversation.

Hearing the flutter of wings Yorusuke looked out over the balcony. A bird. He then came quickly to his feet and drew his zanpakuto. "Seigenganai Tsukiyo--Moon Beam Mist,” he called out to his powers. Surrounding the target in a mist to confuse it, it then shot six beams of light from all directions, immobilize the bird causing it to fall toward the earth.
Yorusuke darted over to the rail of the balcony, leaping over he slid down the roof top to the ground below. A member of the first division was standing there looking at the fallen bird. Walking over to the white bird, Yoruskue pick it up by its legs and held it up to the Commander which was now looking down over the balcony at him.
"Sorry Commander, but it was just as I thought. Another of the Espada's pets."

As the bird hung upside down in the man's hand, the birds eyes began to glow red. The bird began to inflate and bleed smoke, until it exploded. The force of the explosion forcing both men onto their backs. A faint laugh echoed on the wind, as a light breeze blew smoke about the Captain Commander's office.

Shunsui's eyes narrowed and he turned to a guard. "Get Captain Kurotsuchi and tell him to test for anything left behind." When that man nodded, he turned to Nagano, and his eyes narrowed further. "What did I say about attacking, officer?" Before Nagano could reply, he held up his hand. "You cannot attack all birds here or in Karakura Town. It alerts the enemies even more. There is more than one way to hide a secret." He turned and started back towards his office.

Yorusuke stood with a groan dusting himself off. His eyes narrowed in returned. He leaped back up to the Commanders office. Stepping down from the rail he went into a bow lowing himself to one knee. His head lowered. "Then I decline in the mission, Sir. Forgive my actions, but I was under the impression the Espada and Ayakashi were to be stop. We have suffered enough from them."
He looked up at the Commander and stood in front of him. "If we are going to let them do as they please then count me out of your plans and ideas." He walked past the Commander opening the door to his office. He turned back and looked to the Commander.
"I will hand in my resignation to Captain Kuchiki by the end of the day," he turned back to leave the room. "Have a good life Commander." The door closed and Yorusuke was gone.

The Captain Commander didn’t stop him, half-turning to at his anger and then turning back around at his departure. He returned his admiration of the view below the First Division tower. “That boy has much energy hidden behind his discipline, bouncing from a rooftop to the ground, blasted back into my office with the explosion, and now a willful resignation. I wonder what drew him to the Sixth Division, but then again, Lieutenant Abarai is much the same in that regard.” He looked around, eyes settling on another bird on the nearby rooftop, and then strode over to his desk, picking up his pen. “There’s no reason to punish someone who is lost but hasn’t turned to chaos in their time of confusion. There’s enough pain in the feeling of loneliness.” He started writing out another report, waiting for Nanao to return with the noon meal.

"Delivering Justice":Shunsui sat at his desk, pouring over new reports regarding the lowly hollows caught in the net created by Kurotsuchi’s inventions. More and more patrols were done in Rukongai since the net would not extend any further than Seireitei. He signed off on the latest of his own safety precautions. In six years, nothing had stirred, giving him plenty of time to cover all angles. He was back in shape, too. He chuckled. Even with drinking. Just then, his eyes narrowed at a strange disturbance outside of his office door. Something thudded and he bolted, throwing the door open. The two guards at his door were knocked out and on his doorstep, bound unconscious lay Vale Tervaden. With his reiatsu intact. Shunsui’s eyes narrowed further. What was going on here?He whistled and two more guards appeared, looking shaken by the sight of the bound prisoner and their fallen comrades. “Take them to the Fourth Division, though I believe they are unharmed. And then I want guards at Nanao’s door and to not be disturbed.” He looked to both of them. “And no one knows about this yet.” Taking a fistful of the man’s shirt, he tossed Vale none too gently into his office and closed the door, sealing his budding reiatsu. He took a seat across from the prisoner. “So what brought you to my door at this late hour?” he murmured aloud, waiting for him to come around.

Vale groaned, shifting in his seat. With his head hung, he opened his eyes and stared at the floor. Feeling the Captain Commander's reiatsu, Vale knew precisely where he was - The Soul Society. "Where is Yumiko?" he asked, his voice a whisper. "Is she alright, Captain?"
The Commander's eyes narrowed. "I have no reason to believe otherwise. Why do you ask, Tervaden? and why do you have your power back?"
"Koga attacked." Vale answered. "I was...hurt." He lifted his head to look at the Captain Commander. His vision blurred from the tears welling in his eyes. "I would like to see her, if that's alright with you..."

Shunsui raised an eyebrow at another sign of feelings from the man before him. It seemed to be as reported. Setting his worry for Yumiko aside, he knelt down by the emotional mess on his office floor. "If she were injured, I would know. But she is not here. It's just you and me. And I want to know the answer to my question, Vale. Now."

"Your guess is as good as mine." Vale hung his head again. "I remember Koga. And, Sada. Then, Sada attacking me. After that...nothing." He looked to the Captain Commander again. "I don't know why my powers have returned. If they keep me from Yumiko - of they are the reason I am bound - take them from me." Vale held his hands out to the Captain Commander knelt before him. "Please."

Shunsui sighed and stood. “I cannot just take your powers away from you, no matter how different you appear from the bloody psychopath you once were. I had conditions to letting you roam free, without punishment.” He took a seat again. “For now, we will wait for someone from Karakura to appear. If you just vanished, I am sure they will have the answers.” He paused. “And if this is a game - with no answer - you will be locked in the lowest dungeon I can find, Tervaden.”
