Kisuke looked to Kyoraku shaking his head. "I know as much as you right now, Kyoraku. I have not confronted him yet. I wanted to come to you first. The thing about this--Vale was just at the shop a few days ago and he seemed no different then when we found him two years ago on my doorstep."
He walked over sitting back down in front of the Commander. "This God, Alister. If he and Vale are working together. I fear the worst at work here."

Shunsui huffed and looked down at his clenched hands. If Tervaden was controlling the God, it was a deadly combination they needed curtailed. But if they guessed wrong…. He looked up at Kisuke. “We need poof. If he is still human, without his memories, then that same God will punish us for attacking the bastard. We can’t strike without knowing more.”

Kisuke nodded, "then I will take care of Vale. I will go talk to him when I return back to the shop." Looking Kyoraku in the eyes he asked.
"What do you want me to do with him if he remembers and his powers returned?"

Shunsui’s eyes were hard. “Make your judgement if those memories or dreams have unleashed the monster. If he has in fact stepped on Las Noches’ soil - if it is not something from his connection to a damn God - his own will that violates his human shell - I want him locked up!”

With a nod Kisuke agreed with him. The time of truth was about to come forward quickly for Vale Tervaden. If he wanted it to or not. "I have a few more details we need to go over. Some of the details not pertaining to Las Noches." He sat back down trying to calm himself as he took a deep breath and exhaled. Turning back to his notes he lifted the book and thumbed through a few pages.
"I have some very interesting information on Aizen's palace for you as well." He reached into his pocket and lifted a smallish size piece of marble from his pocket and rested it to Kyoraku's desk. "Do you know what this is?"
Shunsui raised his right eyebrow at his friend. "Marble from Las Noches, presumably? Is there something special about it?"
"Very," Kisuke told him. "Help me out here." Kyoraku looked at him oddly as Kisuke laughed. "Put your hand next to it with mine and we will release our reiastu completely. Watch the marble do a trick."
Shunsui, confused, but eager to learn his friend's secret, took a breath and released the iron control on his reiatsu, releasing the flood. Kisuke did the same. He watched the rock and widened his eyes.
The smallish piece of marble sitting to his desk started to grow, and reshape. "Pretty nifty don't you think?" Kisuke offered with a wide smile. "In all the years I wondered how Aizen was able to rebuild Las Noches so quickly. Now I know." Kisuke pulled back his reiatsu concealing it once more as Kyoraku did the same. "You can keep that small bobble I have plenty more at the shop," he grinned.

Shunsui chuckled. "Perhaps I will give it to Nanao," he murmured. "She can use it as a bookend. But for now..." he slid the marble piece off his desk to the floor next to some discarded reports. "Now, you said we have more to discuss beyond Vale's probable part in Las Noches. You said it went from bad to worse. What did you mean?"

"First the bad news. Our newest Espada, Loki. I found blood samples along with research papers in Szayel's lab. It seems he is not like the others. He is a creation of Szayel's. His strength, intelligences and ego mimics Aizen's. Given though, I think the ego is the alter ego of the man. Aizen likes the blood shed, but he don't relish in it like Loki does. That part of the Loki reminds me of Nnoitra the fifth Espada. No matter. Loki, when destroyed can be pieced back together as long as they have all the pieces. So in reality. Loki can never die."
"I also took samples of all the Espada and Ayakashi's blood skin and saliva. At least all the ones I could get my hands on. I lack two."

Shunsui sighed and folded his hands before him, looking to his old friend. So Loki, another on the 'most wanted' list of Aizen's minions would always come back. Again and again. Because he was a creation. "He's more fiendish experimentation than hollow then... maybe that will give us an edge... if he comes back." He raised his head to Kisuke. "Next?" he asked.

Kisuke reached to the inside of his haori and pulled out a thick leather bound book with a tie closure. He set it on the desk in front to Kyoraku. Before he lifted his hand from it, he looked to Kyoraku a serious look on his face.
"The information you read in this book dies with you. I am far from finished with the research, but when I am, I want this rewritten in simple book form and placed somewhere safe for only the use of the Captains and Noble ranks." Kisuke lifted his hand from the book and sat back in the chair, watching Kyoraku pull the tie and crack the cover of the book. He looked at the front page reading it, his head nodding slowly.

Research on The Seraph Goddess Sumi and her vessel Kita Miyamoto; Findings and Research by Kisuke Urahara
It was long but precise title of a very dangerous topic. Shunsui smirked. “Why am I not surprised that you decided to make a research project out of your wonderful time with Kita,” he mused aloud, turning the pages.
Kisuke tipped his hat. “Now, now, old friend, this is research to better protect said important girl,” the shopkeeper corrected calmly. “Don’t go linking me with that crazy scientist down in 12th division. I have my morals.”
Shunsui chuckled. “Don’t forget that you hired him first, Kisuke.” He looked over a few more notes and closed the book. He hesitated and then returned it to his friend. “Until this war is most definitely over, this book and ANY copies stay in your hands only. The shop is still the most guarded. For now, I will visit and read it there.” He removed his hand from the precious volume.
“Anything else? Was Vale the worst you had to offer?”

"Vale and Loki, yes." Kisuke nodded, "you might be seeing me again once I have finished the research on the Ayakashi. I will find away to beat those demons." He tucked the book back into his haori. "I also wanted to share this thought with you." Kyoraku titled his head and listened to what Kisuke had to say. "I believe Aizen is not dead; and maybe walking among us as we speak. So be very careful with welcoming new people into your company." Kisuke lifted from his seat at the desk and picked up his notebook, putting it in its proper place as well for the trip home. As he stood, Kyoraku looked to him. "Get back to me on Vale as soon as possible. He is too close to both of our girls, even after all he has done." Kisuke nodded again and smiled, turned and placed his hand to his hat then turned again at the doorway looking back at Kyoraku. "You know--you and Juushiro are just as welcome at my place. I am sure Yoruichi, Kenji and the others would like to see you all as well." Kyoraku laughed waving him out the door as Kisuke joined him in his laughter. "We will see if Nanao and Isane will be willing to let us out of their sight for a few hours. Tell them all hello from us here at the Gotei." Kisuke adjusted his hat with a nod and left the Commander to his own work.

"Regarding the Shadow":Yorusuke walked through the first division with a small piece of paper in his hand. He had a summons from the Commander. He was slightly worried, not sure as of why he would call him forth like this. He did have to admit he was slightly nervous. His own captain did not even tell him as of why he was summoned to the Commander's office. The closer he drew to the office doors his steps slowed. What did I do? Better yet; what did I not do that warranted this? He stopped in front of the door and raised his hand to knock, pausing slightly, then knocked soundly on the door.

From across the door, Shunsui chuckled and bid him enter. The commander turned from the balcony and tilted his hat up at the shinigami in approval. “That’s a good strong knock, Officer Nagano,” he called over. “Even if you are nervous, you give a resolute appearance. Kuchiki was right to choose you. Come in and close the door."
Nagano did so and walked over to the commander. "Sir, may I ask what you mean by that last statement? Why have I been summoned?"
Shunsui chuckled again and handed him a cup of tea. "Tell me, Nagano, as an officer of justice, what do you know about the traitor Vale Tervaden?"

Yorusuke shook his head and looked down into the cup of tea he took from the Commander. "I know enough from being here first hand, Sir. Enough that I know this man is a danger to Soul Society and the ones that inhabit it." He looked back to the Commander. "Captain Kuchiki also briefed his entire division on the man after his attack on you, Sir. From the time he was a captain to present day." He paused for a moment. His eyes never breaking contact with the Commander's.
"Why do you ask, Sir?"

The Captain Commander looked to the landscape se out before him. “You are to keep this to yourself, Fourth Seat, but that man has his memories back.” Shunsui paused, gaging his reaction. He’d narrowed his eyes but remained calm. He looked back to the view before them. “This is a man who destroyed his division in one terrible day, joined Aizen and raised destruction rival to that man, and now lives in Karakura Town in the shell of humanity. I don’t trust that shell.”
He turned back to the officer before him. “I want him watched. Discreetly. Watched, boy, not attacked. I need to know what he does and who he interacts with. He has a God on his side and Kisuke has a purpose to keeping him at large. But I have a people to protect. You aren’t known to him and have no personal grudge against him. If I send you to Karakura Town, under the guise of a vacation, could you mange this? To watch without being seen or noticed?”
