Kyoraku breathed a little sigh of relief as Yumiko let herself be comforted. He knew it would be another thing to get her to speak of the reason why she turned that ashen color, but for now, it was not important. He patted her head and looked to Kisuke, his eyes telling his friend to keep an eye on her. As Kisuke nodded, he looked back down at the young noble.
"Yumiko, I need you to go with Kisuke-san and listen to him. You need to hide to protect yourself, and he can do that." She nodded silently, still looking at the book. He sighed again. "I know you don't want to be hidden away again, but this time, you won't be alone. And you won't be sealed. And I promise it will end when Aizen is gone. You can finally go where you want." Yumiko looked up at that, blue violet eyes slightly wet. "Before Sousuke came, Juushiro and I were nearly done with what was needed to release you. We finished that in your absence. For now, fill these pages with what you want to see with Juu-chan and I when this is over - Kita can help with some crazy ideas - and it will happen. Alright?"

Yumiko nodded, closing her eyes again as more memories rippled through her mind. Hopefully, tonight, she would be able to recall them in full. Looking back up at Kyoraku, she held the journal to her chest. Koga, Aizen, and Vale were wrong. She could belong here again. She would. She smiled quietly and stood up, turning to the friendly shopkeeper. “Are you sure Kita will be there?” she asked in a neutral voice.

Kisuke looked to Kyoraku wondering how he wanted to approach her with the idea of hiding her and Kita away. It was not like they would be locked away. They would be free to roam they just could not roam from within the boundaries of the barrier. Which in this case was the entire village.
He stood from his chair and walked over to Kyoraku resting his hand on his shoulder. He could see the worry in his friends eyes and he knew he was not one to do this sort of stuff. It was always Juushiro's forte. Kisuke cleared his throat a closed hand over his mouth and looked to Yumiko with a warm smile.
"Yumiko, we have something we need to talk to you about."

Yumiko set the book down and folded her hands in her lap. “What is it?” she asked politely.

Kisuke smiled and sat down next to Yumiko adjusting his hat. "We want to hide Kita and you away some place Aizen will never find you." Yumiko flinched at the thought and Kisuke caught her hand giving it a gentle squeeze. He smiled warmly.
"You won't be locked away behind doors. You will have free roam of the village." He tilted his head nodding it slightly with an approving look on his face. "Which is rather large. You two will not be alone. My five year old son, Kenji, and girlfriend are there. You will be safe. Much safer than here in the Soul Society or Karakura."

Yumiko smiled. It seemed a lot nicer than any of the other confinements she'd been through. “Your son must be a wonderful kid with the way you claim some credit for Kita.” She looked down as Shunsui poured her a new cup of tea and took a long drink. Her budding headache faded. Sighing with a larger smile, she looked back at the shopkeeper. “Who’s the lucky woman?”

"A dangerous cat, Yoruichi Shihoin," Shunsui answered before Kisuke could. He clapped his friend on his back. "Five years old, is it? When this is over, you're going to have to introduce me to him, hopefully before he becomes the terror his parents are." Kisuke chuckled and hid behind his fan. Shunsui turned to Yumiko again. "So will you go with him?"
She nodded. "I will. But..." she paused, "can I see Ukitake-san before I go?"
Shunsui chuckled awkwardly. "I'll send him your way when Fourth Division releases him," he vowed. He patted her head again. "It's nothing to worry about, Yumiko-chan. Just an in-depth routine checkup. It takes a few days with all the tests.
She nodded.
Shunsui chuckled to himself. Now I have a few days to undo the NOT routine kidnapping.

Smiling Kisuke stood and nodded to Kyoraku. "I will go get Kita. We will leave from here. It will be safer if we do it that way instead of taking Yumiko with me then making a new path back."
"So you're telling me your family has been under our very noses this whole time and we never knew it?" the Commander asked him.
Kisuke grinned adjusting his hat. "Ask me no question and I'll tell you no lies, old friend." He let his hand pat Kyoraku's shoulder as he stepped past him. "As for as meeting Kenji before he a is terror like me and his mother?" He stopped at the door and peered from under his hat with a devilish grin. "Too late." He chuckled softly. "I will be back in a bit."
Kisuke opened the door and exited leaving Kyoraku and Yumiko alone.

"Hiding the Angels":Opening the door for her Kisuke stepped aside to let Kita enter the room. She was wearing the clothing you would see humans wearing. Which for Kita was normal, but she had to admit felt funny after a year and a half of wearing an arrancar uniform. She had on a pair of black jeans, a T-shirt with an image that could not be made out from the purple half zipped hoodie she was wearing over it. The hood was up and her hands were stuffed in her pockets. Her head was partially hung; until she walked in seeing Yumiko and the Captain Commander sitting on the couch enjoying a cup if tea. When she saw Kyoraku, her face turned bright red and her head dropped completely to avoid eyes contact with him.
A sad feeling then washed over her and she made a quick bee-line to the bathroom. Grabbing for the handle, she stopped and turned to Kisuke. She looked at him with sad eyes.
"Can I wait out in the hall please? Too many memories in here."

Kisuke sighed taking her in his arms when she stopped in front of him. He hugged her tightly kissing her on the forehead, then stepped back from the hug. "Are you sure?"
Kita nodded slowly, "yeah, you already told me what was going on."
He sighed again, nodding he walked them toward the door opening it again for her.

Seeing Kita’s distress, Yumiko stood up quickly, her own worries replaced with her friend’s. “Wait, Kisuke, if Kita is not happy here, we don’t have to drag this out any longer.” The noble looked to Kyoraku then picked up the empty journal. “I already have what I need from here.”

Kisuke turned and looked at Yumiko as well so did Kita as she rested her hand to the door frame. He looked back at Kita as she turned. She was watching Yumiko closely.
"Will you come in and sit for at least a little bit while I take a look at Yumiko's eyes, Kita?" He placed his hand on her shoulder. "It will only take a few minutes."
Kita nodded slowly as she turned and walked back in the room and over to one of the chairs across from the couch. Kisuke followed in behind her. "Yumiko, last time you came to see me you told me Szayel did some testing on you. Did he tell you anything other then that?" He walked from around Kita toward Yumiko.

Yumiko frowned and looked down, recalling that day the truth had been revealed to her. That everything was a game. She took a breath and looked back up. “Aizen told me he fixed my eyes, giving me 20/20 vision. I think that is all,” she said, voice carefully neutral. "What do you think that means?" she said, a bitter note entering her voice. She turned her head aside. "I'm sorry. I shouldn't have said it like that. You're not the enemy."

Kisuke laughed adjusting his hat. "No need to apologize, Yumiko. I would be bitter to." He lifted his hands looking at her. "May I?" He asked before he touched her. She nodded her head and he placed his hand on her lid and lower eye and opened her eye wide and looked into her eyes his other hand having a small bright flashlight.
"How was your vision before he did this?" He released that part of her face and move to the other eye. "I mean--I know after the binding your vision was probably blurred, but did you have issues at all with your sight before the binding?" He released her quickly placing his hands on her shoulders. "Don't answer that. I see what he did."
He looked to Kyoraku, "want to help me out here. I need her head perfectly still."

Shunsui nodded and leaned off the chair, coming over. “What do you need me to do?” he asked, but before Kisuke could explain both had to move forward to catch Yumiko as she swooned. "Relax, Yumiko," he murmured, "Kisuke's not going to hurt you."
She shook her head as she straightened again. "I know that. It's... it's a reaction now, I guess. I'm sorry."
Shunsui lips firmed in anger but a look from his friend kept him from voicing any curse words aloud. He set a hand on a free space on her shoulder and then looked to Kisuke. "Is it possible to do this sitting down?" he asked.
