Sheathing his blade he offered his hand to the familiar Quincy. "You know if you two wanted a place to cuddle and get acquainted, why come to a place that really doesn't want to see you? There are places in the human realm you could do this."
Ishida took his hand as Renji pulled them both to their feet. "Come on. It is not safe to be out here. Fire or soul reaper wise." Releasing Ishida's hand he turned from them and started down the hill back to the hell below.

Uryu blushed slightly as he looked to the Soul Reaper leading the way. "We did not come to the Soul Society to become..." he coughed between words. "Acquainted. Raelin gave of herself to save your kind, you red headed dolt." He pushed his frames along the bridge of his nose before picking Raelin up and carrying her as he followed Abarai. "Words of kindness are in order."

"The only kindness you will get from me is getting you somewhere safe so no one else will kill your asses." He looked over his shoulder at the two behind him. "What they hell are you doing here anyway, and how the hell did you get here in the first place?"
He looked forward again watching the path before them. "I think the Goddess is here. You will be safe with her."

"We are not here to cause you all any harm." Uryu adjusted Raelin in his arms. "Raelin has the ability to reverse the fate of an individual. She pulled many of your Soul Reapers from the brink of death. She has exhausted herself, in an effort to save your kind." He quickened his pace. "Why is the Seraph here?"

Renji gave a side glance not really looking at the couple. "Why would she care? And why would you care why she is here? The Seraph is here because as you can see she is needed." Renji stopped at the side of the incline and jumped.
At the bottom he looked up the hill side at Ishida. "You can still move can't you?" Shaking his head at the irritated look on Ishida's face he turned and started walking the path again. "Jump or I will leave your asses for someone else to find."

Uryu frowned as he looked down at Abarai. "You are still an impatient ass, I see." Tightening his grasp around his fellow Quincy, Uryu jumped from the hill. Landing safely, he pushed his frames along his nose. "With all the chaos, do you honestly believe that anyone would care that we are here?"

Renji gave a carefree chuckle. "Your kind left a bad taste in the mouths of many here in the Soul Society, Ishida." Renji pushed forward. "And its not like its not well deserved. The Quincy's have been pushing their weight around for centuries."
Renji said no more as he continued to walk toward the fourth division.

Uryu only nodded in acknowledgment of Abarai's words. Any action taken against he and Raelin would be well deserved because of the Quincy's War. But, he hoped that Raelin's selfless deed would go towards repair the Quincy's relationship with the Soul Society.
He remained quiet as he followed Abarai to the Fourth Division.

"Clipping Wings":As one of the enemy snatched her from her hold and she reappeared in the sky above the broken Soul Society, Suzume’s emotions spiraled. She twisted in the Ayakashi’s arms, trying to get free. The arms tightened and she growled, tossing her head around to try and bite him.
“Let me go, damned hollow! I’ll kill you!”
They’d killed Rangiku. They’d killed Momo. They’d taken Ukitake away from everyone.
She would never give in to them.

"Bonds and Promises" (continued):Shunsui wrapped his hand around her wrist to keep her close, breathing in her hyacinth and vanilla shampoo as he stared into her steely blue eyes. “Did you know the best time for drinking is the twilight hours? Caught between dusk and dawn, the end and the beginning, where all is forgiven or forgotten?” “I would hope not all would be forgotten,” she murmured. He chuckled and caressed her forearm. “It’s alright to cry, you know. No one will see.” “You’ll see and I’m fine,” she huffed, turning her head.
Shunsui smiled quietly and set his head on her shoulder. “Cap-”
“I need to find a way to seal our wounds,” Shunsui muttered, not letting her protest. "I need to - and soon. Before it takes even more of us with the bitter wave of tragedy.” He closed his eyes. “War – it definitely is easier than healing the the scars of grief. Or breaking the chains of failure.”

“Shunsui…” Nanao released her notepad and wrapped her arms around her captain. “Idiot, you’ve already done plenty to make up for what you couldn’t do before. And you were fighting a god. That’s called cheating. It doesn’t count against you.” She stroked Shunsui’s head as he leaned against her. “And Suzume will be okay. She’s not broken yet.”
“I don’t like the word yet….” he mumbled.
Nanao ignored him. “Just find her a captain soon and don’t take her away from the division she’s put so much into keeping together. And get Shinji out of his storm cloud long enough to 'accidentally' bonk into her and she will make it.” She looked to the darkening sky, eyes on the early stars. “As long as Hitsugaya-san isn’t dead, she’ll make it.”
A few minutes later, she sighed. “About how long do you plan on resting on my shoulder, Captain? You’re heavy. And it’s getting darker. Your appointment is at the evening meal, you know.”

Shunsui chuckled and pulled away. “Then I guess we had better get going.”
Nanao knelt to retrieve her notebook. “That is the general idea, yes,” she stated. “You walk slowly, too.”
Shunsui grinned. “I can’t help it,” he retorted, rubbing the back of his neck. He looked back at the barracks they had left behind. “In this light, it’s as if all is as it should be.” He tugged one of his hairpins free and twirled it in his hand. “The sky’s painting a portrait of warmth, spreading out a blanket of soft clouds, like you would see when you were young, and the last rays of light are bands of promise, like radiant pulses of our hearts.” He slid the hairpin back into his head. “It’s not something to rush through.”
Silence greeted his pronouncement for a few moments. “Poetry won’t save you from your excuses.”
Shunsui started. And pursed his lips. “Nanao-chan, do you have to be so mean? And here I was trying-”
“Don’t run.”
He stopped speaking.

“And don’t wait.”
Nanao pushed a lock of hair to the side. “Just keeping walking forwards holding onto your promise for tomorrow. That should be enough.” She started walking again, eyes narrowing and letting the darkness hide the heat on her cheeks. “That’s why I’m still here after all.” She quickened her pace. “Come on now. We are going to be late.”
“Then marry me after this is done.”
She halted and squared her shoulders. “Baka!” she snapped, whirling around and notebook held high. Her temper and patience with him were done for the day. For the week. For the month. “You don’t joke abou-”
Shunsui shunpo’ed forward and blocked her impending strike. “I’m not joking, Nanao.”
She stood frozen, only Shunsui’s hot hand keeping her upright, unable to break from his penetrating commanding gaze.

Shunsui smiled. “You’re cute when you’re shocked, Nanao.” Nanao blinked and then glared. “I’ll have you know that I can roast most soul reapers with a single word. If this is a game-”
He set a hand on her cheek. “It’s not, Nanao,” he whispered, halting her rampage. “Be angry at me later for delaying us, but I couldn’t keep quiet anymore. I had to ask. And hope you wouldn’t say no. Again. The atmosphere was whispering too loudly in my ear.” “If that’s the reason….”
“That’s the excuse,” her captain murmured, slipping his finger over her lips. “How many years have I been chasing after you?” He caressed the flesh underneath his calloused grip. “If I let you speak again, you’d be ordering me to clarify when I stopped looking at others. Or if I stopped looking. And then again,” he chuckled, “maybe you wouldn’t. Since you’ve stayed by me.” His gaze darkened. “Even when you were taken because I couldn’t protect you. Even when I’ve failed as captain commander to protect Soul Society and I’ve had no wish to pick up the pieces, the intensity in your eyes challenged me to do nothing but my very best. Warned me that you would be very disappointed. If it had been anyone else, I probably would have ignored them. I didn’t ask for Yama-jii to choose me. I didn’t ask to pitted against characters like Sousuke Aizen and Vale Tervaden. I just wanted the simple things in life. And always have. Juu-chan, he’s the dreamer.” “Liar…” she mumbled through his fingers.
“I think I am going to quiet your lips, Nanao. You’re interrupting your captain.” “I’m not… talking… to him.”
Shunsui smirked. “That’s good to hear.” He kissed her, slowly sliding his lips over hers own before pulling her against his body and taking it further when she let him. He groaned. “It’s not fair …. to surrender…. now of all times, Nanao.” “Shut up. You’re the one,” she panted. “who started this.” Nanao dragged his lips back down onto hers.
“When I silence the cries of bloodlust …and vengeance…. I am taking you to the nearest bed.” “It better … not be… just .. any bed, Shunsui.”
Drinking in her gasps for one last time, Shunsui pulled back from her, smile soft but eyes twinkling in roguish delight. He fixed his hat and winked. “The nearest bed from the office is my own~”

"Seeking the Perfect Being": After leaving her brother Ayano walked down the streets of the Seiretei toward the man she sought out days before to create a child with. He was the perfect being for this, and the child she would birth would be of quality reiatsu and strength for an Eva.
She had made herself visible to the ones around her as she appeared in a power blue kimono, adorned with white flower petals scattered throughout the kimono a white obi wrapped her waist and her long blonde hair pulled up and pinned in place with a butterfly comb. She walked proudly toward the chosen mans division knowing he was there performing his duties as the honorable captain he was.
Soon the West Gate came into view letting her know she was very close to the Eleventh Division and the man she choose to create her Eva child with. Captain Kenpachi Zaraki.Moved
