"Lessons with a Master": Continued Shunsui stopped in the center of the clearing underneath Soukyoku Hill and waited for the hapless youths he needed to instruct, folding his arms and counting. Third Seat Ashimitsu arrived first, his earlier confusion mixing oddly with a cocky smirk. The commander had no doubt that that was due to being taught by the flash. Well, Yoruichi-san, it's time to knock him down a few pegs. Lieutenant Shuuei arrived soon after that thought, raising an eyebrow curiously, and Juushiro appeared at his side a breath later. Shunsui unfolded his arms and glanced up at the cliff high above them. "Not bad for your first time walking with me," he stated quietly.

"It wasn't as hard as all that," Tsukiro dusted himself off and crossed his arms. "So, why are we here?"

Hisagi ran his fingers through his hair. "You call that a walk?" He laughed softly and followed the commanders gaze up the side of the cliff.
"No way he is thinking what I think he is thinking?" Hisagi thought to himself.

"Why?" Shunsui murmured. He chuckled and faced them again. "Why because you guys seemed to enjoy my toys the other night. I thought maybe you'd like to join me for something else," he explained. There was a new glint in his dark eyes, easily visible without the hat.

Tsukiro paled and swallowed hard. He pointed at Hisagi. "His idea. He was calling the shots."

Sheepishly Hisagi looked away then chuckled lightly. "Fair enough I guess." He looked back to the commander. "So you want us to top the cliff?"

"Nothing as easy as that," the commander muttered. He drew one of his swords. "Lieutenant, your resolution brought Tousen to the end of his mad path, but you have yet to master Bankai." He pointed his blade at Tsukiro next. "Third Seat, you ran into Las Noches at the first opportunity you had and attacked a lieutenant for kissing your girlfriend. You have the opposite problem as your friend. With your Bankai, you're reckless and think you're stronger than the natural limitations."
He lowered his zanpakuto to an angle at his side. "Both of you attack me," he ordered. "Third Seat, you are not allowed to use Bankai. Lieutenant, you are barred from Kido. Try to actually mark me and then maybe you can dance with my shikai. I will prove that one of you is stronger than he believes and that the other has a support system he can rely on."

Captain Ukitake drew his zanpakuto. "Neither of you are to hold back. I will interfere if things get out of hand." His tone was just as steely as the commander's. This needed to be done.

Tsukiro laughed, tossing his haori side. "You're wrong, old man. It's not my bankai that makes me reckless. I don't even remember the last time I used it." He pulled out his zanpakuto and his short sword.
"But alright then. If this is my punishment, I'll gladly accept it."
Tsukiro flashed forward, disappearing just as he was halfway to Kyoraku. He reappeared behind him and silently thrust both swords at his back.

Just before the swords hit him, the commander vanished, appearing behind Tsukiro in two breaths. "Is that so?" he called out. He sidestepped as Tsukiro turned, fluid as the wind. His free hand shot out and clipped Tsukiro on his chin, making him fall back.

Tsukiro lifted his feet back as he got the ground, rolling to his feet. He rushed forward again, flashed and behind him again. But this time when the captain dodged and countered, Tsukiro shunpo'd to his other side and lashed out, getting away with a cut through shihakusho.
Then he jumped up, landing his feet on Kyoraku's shoulders. He put his entire weight on him, weighing his front half down.

"You're too cocky, Third Seat," Shunsui grumbled as he let his upper body bow. He caught Tsukiro's left ankle and yanked, making him lose his balance for a moment, a moment during which Shunsui rammed the hilt of his sword into his kneecap with his other hand. The boy fell to the ground hard.
"Only put all of your strength into something if you are sure it is going to work." He turned as the whirring of Hisagi's zanpakuto echoed out.

Kazeshini's windmill blades wrapped several times around one of the Captain Commander's blades. He pulled on the blade, then threw his other Kazeshini directly at him.
While the commander was distracted, he saw Tsukiro zip around him and trip him. As the commander went down Hisagi yanked the blade from his hand and Tsukiro thrust his blades down at him.

Closing his eyes, the commander used the fall to his advantage. Just before he fell to the ground, Shunsui kicked Tsukiro in the gut. Whirling back to his feet, the hand now relieved of his blade caught the chain of Kazeshini and yanked it downwards, causing the chaotic blade to jerk from his path. Chuckling, Shunsui picked up his blade again.
"Better. This time you attacked as a team." He beckoned the lieutenant forward again as Tsukiro stumbled to his feet again.

Tsukiro kept his eyes on Kyoraku as he slowly moved around him. He just so happend to look down at the commanders shadow. He gave Hisagi a quick glance, tapping his zanpakuto. The lieutenant nodded and raised Kazeshini.Tsukiro flashed around as Hisagi threw one of his blades at Kyoraku. The captain blocked it easily, deflecting it into the air. Tsukiro jumped up and kicked the blade back down to the ground.
"Bathe in shadows, Kuroitsuki Kage!!"
Black flames surrounded him and he landed on the ground underneath the fading blade. Kazeshini fell behind him and into his shadow, disappearing into the dark void created by Kuroitsuki Kage. Tsukiro then pointed one finger at Kyoraku's shadow. Out sailed the blade, nailing the commander in the back.
