Or so he thought. The blade ripped upwards, slicing up through all layers of the commander's shihakusho. He vanished, a few hair falling to the ground in his place, and landed a few feet behind Lieutenant Shuuei, sending out a red blast of Kido at his feet. A cloud of dust and rubble rose up from the ground.
"Kazeshini may be a difficult blade to read, but he has a killer intent. Some can read that," Shunsui commented, shrugging from the arms of his torn clothes. "Still that was a good combination."
"You were scratched," Juushiro called out from his position on the side.
"Oh, was I?" Shunsui drew his second blade. "Then it's time to take it up a notch." He crossed his blades. "No more waiting for you to attack me, either of you," he murmured to the youth still bathed in shadows. He disappeared.
"Tell me, which of you had Kita moaning more?" he called out from somewhere around them.

Hisagi glanced around hesitantly, glaring at the empty area.
"Frankly, I did," Hisagi chuckled as he spun Kazeshini, trying to read where the Commander would strike first.
He then got an idea, pulling it from the Commander Kyoraku's Kido move, "Got it...." He mumbled, spinning Kazeshini on the ground, making dust cloud around Tsukiro and Himself, "can't hit what you can't see, Commander."

Tsukiro felt his blood boil and rage through his veins. Half of him wanted to turn around and murder Hisagi. The other half wanted to kill Kyoraku for bringing it up. However, he knew the question was meant to throw him off, using his hot temper to his advantage. He did his best to ignore his emotions.
Still, out of his mouth came, "maybe you did, maybe you didn't. Regardless, I make her moan louder than ever when we're alone. And that's something you'll never be able to top, no matter how hard you try."
Tsukiro skulked through the dust cloud, away from the position his voice originated from. He peered through the cloud, looking for the silhouette of the commander. He slowed his breath and his movements, watching for any change in the cloud. Suddenly he spotted a ripple in the cloud. He flashed towards it, raising his blades. He heard their blades clash. In that split second, he wrapped his arms around Kyoraku's, tripped his leg, and tossed him over his shoulder to the ground.
He struck his blade against Katen Kyokotsu, hoping Hisagi would get the hint and attack.

Hisagi shrugged off Tsukiro's comment, not dwelling on the near past that happened. Hisagi then turned his head to the fallen Commander, with Tsukiro holding him down, their blades still colliding.
"A chance, good," Hisagi spun Kazeshini rapidly, throwing one, then both at the Commander, grabbing the chain to steady the windmill blades.

Mildly impressed Shunsui let himself fall to the ground, wondering if his comment would break their concentration. He met the blades as Kazeshini raced towards him out of the corner of his eyes. His dark eyes narrowed imperceptibly.
"So to get her to scream, I need to get her alone, is that right?" he asked Tsukiro directly. The boy's eyes burned and the firm grip on his blades faltered.
The commander altered his hold on his blades, and with the strength in his wakizashi, he twisted the blade downwards towards himself, swinging the hilt into Tsukiro's arm. Tsukiro faltered back. Shunsui pushed him off and rolled, missing the first windmill blade. Standing, he altered his focus to his tachi and lashed out, precisely blocking the second deadly blade.

Hisagi's eyes widened slightly as Kyoraku dodged the windmill blades, the second the Commander blocking the second attack, Hisagi twitched his wrist, making the first blade come spiraling back towards the Commander. Hisagi then yanked the second Windmill blade back to life.
He quickly shot it back towards Kyoraku, shifting his weight slightly so it curved, making the illusion of it missing him, hoping Tsukiro would snap out of his anger soon, rather than later.

"Sorry, I'm the only one that can make her scream," he scoffed.
He grabbed Hisagi windmill blade out of the air and launched it at Kyoraku. The he grabbed the other and curved it around behind the commander. As Kazeshini came at him from both sides, he slashed his zanpakuto through the air, sending an arc of black flames raging at his feet. He flashed behind him and did the same, then shunpo'd all around him, sending flames at him from all directions as Kazeshini continued on its path.

Shunsui raised his head as the flame curled around him, Kazeshini's vicious aura spinning around him. "Then my report must be wrong," he called out, nearly obscured by the flames, "when I heard that she screamed for Sousuke," he finished quietly.
Both of his opponents started at his cruel words and Shunsui flared his reiatsu to clear the circle of weakened flames. Twisting out of the way of the two remaining arches of heat, he vanished.
He reappeared behind Shuuei and slammed his arm into his back. "Unless you're sure of victory, lieutenant, then you use your blades to your advantage. Let one protect you."
As Tsukiro formed behind him, bathed in shadows, and looking murderous, Shunsui chuckled. "Hado #57: Daichi Tenyo." A flury of rubble rushed towards him, knocking his blade out of his hand. Shunsui whirled and clipped him once more on the jaw, knocking his head backwards this time.
"Again you let your anger cloud your mind," he growled as the boy fell. "If you are going to be angry, then let it power your attacks not let it control you."
He stepped into shunpo and appeared on a few feet away. "Again. The third seat is not allowed to use his shikai. Only Kido and his shunko. Lieutenant, only your zanpakuto."

Hisagi fell suddenly, rolling back to his feet, his eyes wide.
"Lesson learned, but to be fair, I did think we had you, foolish mistake on my part," Hisagi growled lightly as he held Kazeshini. He then looked over at Tsukiro, wondering what he would do next, "Tsukiro, calm down, I know it pisses us both off to no extent, but you can't afford to lose yourself to petty anger like that."
Hisagi raised Kazeshini slowly, averting it back to his Zanpakuto state, then flash stepped in range of the Commander, keeping his eyes clear of a weak point before swinging Kazeshini directly at Kyoraku's legs, trying to give Tsukiro a good opening to attack as well.

Fine. You want it? You got it," he tossed his swords aside. He clenched his fists and white reiatsu blasted from his shoulders and back. "No more playing around."
There wasn't even a blur as Tsukiro disappeared and appeared in front of the commander. With killer intent in his eyes, he threw his kido enhanced fist into his gut, sending Kyoraku flying back. Faster than the eye could follow, he shunpo'd over and landed a round house kick to his chest, slamming him into the ground. He landed on his chest hard and being his hand down in a knife position for another blow.

And that was when Shunsui landed his own move, raising his own hand and flicking his middle and index finger at Tsukiro's forehead. Tsukrio flew backwards all the way into a large boulder at the foot of the cliff. Shunsui stood, body bruised but otherwise unharmed. His eyes narrowed.
"Lieutenant, stand down and wait for my signal to join the lesson again," he ordered over his shoulder. Hisagi nodded silently.
Shunsui exchanged a look with his friend who had walked over to Hisagi's side. Sighing, the commander shunpo'ed over to the cracked boulder and Tsukiro's slumped form.
"That attack completely ignored your friend's strategy, third seat," he stated sternly. "If I had been Aizen, you would have been cut in half, much like Hiyori Saragaki was. How do expect to lead those under your command in the division or heed important orders like that? Control your rage or you will only bring more suffering to your loved one."

"Then quit provoking me!!" Tsukiro shouted at Kyoraku. "This is a sorry excuse for a lesson! You're just beating our asses!! In fact, Yoruichi sensei could whip my ass better than this!! All you've done is knock us around and insult us! If you're gonna teach, then teach!"

Shunsui folded his arms. "I am not the one who holds the answer to your weakness, young man," he stated quietly. "That is something only you have. It was the same with me and the same with the more obvious weakness of Captain Ukitake. Each of us has to overcome our weaknesses in a different manner."
The commander crossed his blades again. "My job is to continue to present the flaws your weakness creates. If you do not agree with my methods, give up. Or you can take another step to taming it to your advantage. It's your choice, third seat. Does it matter enough to you?"

"Yes, it matters! But there's a reason why Yoruichi was the one who took me under her wing. She was the only one who could tame me. Then after everything else..." Tsukiro clenched his fists. "I'm too angry most of the time to think clearly. My father always said to never let emotions get in the way on the battlefield. Your emotions should be non existent in the field. But I don't even remember what that feels like."

"Perhaps your father's way is not your way, young man," the commander stated, lowering his swords then sheathing his tachi. "Yoruichi may be the one to teach you the most about your powers, but every leader has more than one teacher."
"You have lost much, young man. No one can deny that, but right now, that loss, the pain from fear of losing someone again, is crippling your true potential. Tell me, who are the people who take away your anger?"
