Sumi narrowed her eyes at him as she looked away from Giichi to her vessel. "She is not herself at the moment I will not ask her questions of this importance when she is under the influence of the Eights foolish research and development."
Giichi chuckled, sitting to the bed's edge. "Then, clear her thoughts. That much you can do. She may not have the ability to heal herself. But, you are not without the ability to heal her. Go on. Wake her. Or, is there something you fear from telling her the truth?"
"I am not to interfere. That is an action the Soul King would see as interference. It must run its course." She turned her back to her fellow God, her hands folding before her once more. She looked up at the high ceiling with a heavy sigh. "My vessel has been down this road once before with Tervaden. It was during the Takeover of your eldest. If she does choose this path again..." she fell silent as her head lowered slowly with a silent sigh. "I will deal with it. I will not turn my back on my vessel just because of the path she has chosen."

Giichi smiled. "Then, what is the harm in waking her, dear? Either you do it now and question where her heart wishes to align itself. Or, you wait until Tervaden shows." Giichi turned, glancing down at the human woman. "Which is going to happen rather soon." Giichi ran a gentle finger along the woman's leg.
"Your hopes rest in a fragile heart and in a Shinigami who is, in truth, no different from his brother." Giichi looked up at the goddess. "But, I digress. I am going to take my leave."

Sumi turned and looked to Giichi before he took his leave. "I will cross the bridges as they come to me. I am in no rush for whatever will happen. Unlike most I am patient, hence the reason I was made a Seraph."
As he started to fade from view Sumi spoke again. "Stay out of this, Giichi. Your sons have caused enough heartache in the lives of others without your help."

"Are you dense, goddess?" asked Giichi. "I have already said that I have no intentions of aiding my sons. But, I will tell you this. If you wish for your vessel to refrain from turning you away, you will have to let her live without your influence. You truly are no different than the son of Shinsato. Both of you have altered the paths of others. And, look at the price you've paid."
Giichi began to fade from the room. "Let her live, goddess. Or, the most drastic turn she will take...will be against you." Giichi faded completely.

Sumi huffed shaking her head as Giichi faded to nothingness. "I know what will happen, Giichi." She spoke silently to the man knowing he could still hear her but was not to be seen. "She has already turned against me for such a thing. The reason I fade into the background and limited my powers to her."
Sumi sighed, "but she still found ways to tap into them and make them her own. Making her a danger to herself and others." She looked to Kita as she still slept soundly. "Who are you, besides my vessel?"
She watched as Kita stirred where she laid, Sumi fading from the room herself.~END RP~ "Belated Invitation":

"Las Noches Gambit":
Vale sat in the dark of the room, at the edge of the bed where Kita slept. Kadaj crawled onto the bed and sat beside him, his little feet swinging off the edge. Vale raised a finger to his lips, shushing the boy. He leaned over, brushing a bit of hair from Kita's face. "Hm..." he growled lowly, noticing the dry blood and busted lip. Sitting up, he placed his hands in his lap. Vale gave a quick nod to Kadaj, who looked up at him with a wide smile.
Kadaj fell onto his side and rolled over onto his mother. He straddled her belly, scooting up until his could place his hands on her face. "Mommy!" he shouted, falling forward into her. He rubbed his head against her chest, mumbling and grunting words of the inaudible sort. "Mommy! Wake up! Wake up! Wake. Up!"
"That's enough, Little Dragon." said Vale, tugging on the back of the boy's kimono. He watched as Kita stirred from her sleep, giggling as the little boy continued to bounce. "Give her a moment."

Kita's hand lifted to her head as she groaned softly. It first she thought everything was a dream and she was still home in bed, but when she opened her eyes and saw the high ceiling she shot up in the bed her arm warping around Kadaj keeping him close. Her eyes then went to her husband.
She remained silent for only a moment as a bright smile crossed her lips. "You came for me." She looked to Kadaj then back to her husband, "but why did you bring Kadaj with you." She heard him chuckle softly as she noticed the fire in his eyes.
Quickly her arms were thrown around his neck a joyous tone in her voice. "Vale! You're back!"

"Off! Off! Off!" squealed Kadaj, pushing his mother and father apart. "Off! I not squish!"
Vale chuckled, gently nudging his son. "If you don't want to get squished, move out of the way." he said, gently pushing Kadaj out of the way. He looked to his wife, smiling warmly at her. "Don't be upset, love." Vale nodded. "But, yes. I'm back. With it comes all the terror that my name carries. If you want to leave me, I understand. But..." Vale chuckled again as Kita hugged him again.
"Ew!" squealed Kadaj, covering his eyes as his parents shared a kiss.
"I take it you're not too upset."

Her head shook quickly as she cupped his cheek and kissed his lips again their son in the background with his sound effects once more. Parting from the kiss Kita was giggling softly at Kadaj. She looked up into Vale's eyes with a bright smile.
"I missed you so much. I did not think when you changed your name you would change that much. I guess it was too much for the both of us. I could tell you were not happy, and I was so scared it was me that was making you unhappy. I thought I was going to lose you."
She leaned back a little more putting a little more space between them. "It's...I mean...It's not me...Is it?" Her heart sank, fearful of his answer.

"Not at all, love." replied Vale. "Vale Tervaden is who I am. I changed because I believed that was what you wanted. You wanted peace and happiness. Not my chaos. You haven't droven me that crazy." Vale smiled as he playfully plucked Kita in the forehead. "Not yet anyway."
"No hit my mommy!" yelled Kadaj, rolling into his father. "I'll get Toji!"
"And, I'll let Aizen babysit you!" smirked Vale. He looked back to Kita. "So, you're not upset?"

She shook her head with another bright smile. "I am use to you and all your chaos. I just want you happy, and I do want peace. But I have learned peace comes in many different forms. In my case it means to be with the one that makes me happy and feel needed and loved." She let her hand rest to his chest.
"That means being with you," She looked to Kadaj as he was wallowing in the pillows then crawled under the covers, he then laid back on the pillows and pretended to be asleep.
"I seep now." Kadaj said as his eyes closed.
Kita giggled softly and looked back to Vale. "And our special little dragon." Kadaj made a snoring nose making her and Vale both chuckle softly. "And if here is where you wants us. Then here is where we will stay. Just promise me to keep Aizen as far away from Kadaj as possible."

"I promise." whispered Vale, resting a hand to Kita's belly. "He won't get a hand on these two either." Vale looked at the wiggling form beneath the covers. He chuckled as Kadaj continued to pretend to snore until he coughed. "Little Dragon, why don't you pretend to sleep on the couch out there. While mommy and daddy give each other apologies."
"I wan 'lol-...'loly-...'lolygies!" groaned Kadaj. He sat up in the bed, huffing as he kicked the blanket off his legs. "Daddy...Who dat?" Kadaj pointed to a figure standing in the doorway.
Without turning to see where his son was pointing, Vale smiled and answered the question. "His name is Ulquiorra Cifer. Or, Schiffer." Vale smirked. "Are you the one who busted my wife's lip?"

“Yes, it was,” the Espada stated, staying in the doorway. “She was left in my training and being disrespectful. I decided her attitude needed a change.” He looked to the child who scurried under the blanket again. “You are not to remove the collar. Attempting to will have dire consequences.” He turned around. "I hope I need not elaborate for the child's sake."

Vale narrowed his eyes. "You are a bold fool, Espada."
Kita huffed. "I called you Ulqui!" she shouted. "No worse then you calling me WOMAN."
Vale raised a hand as he rose from the bed. "Enough, Kita. The fourth Espada is correct." he said calmly, walking over and standing next to the hollow. "You should show respect to those whose care you're placed in."
"Vale?!"
"Hm..." Vale suddenly swung his hand, backhanding the Espada into the other room and through the marble wall. He glanced over his shoulder, through the gaping hole in the wall.
Kita sighed. "I thought you were serious."
"Not even in the slightest."

Kita uncovered Kadaj and lifted him from the bed as she stood from the bed. She walked over to Vale with their son in her arms. "Can we get out of here please."
Kadaj lifted his hand and touched the collar around his mothers neck. "Mommy, wat dis? You no puppy, why you wear dis?"
Kita looked to Kadaj and took his hand in hers lowering it to his side. "Someone don't like that mommy can beat him up. So he put this on me to keep that from happening."
"Who dat?" Kadaj asked.
Vale reached out and took Kadaj from her as Kita smiled at their son. "No one important, sweetie. It will be gone soon enough." Hearing a noise from the other side of the room Kita looked to where Ulquiorra went through the wall. She grabbed Vale's arm. "Let's go."
