Ulquorra bowed to his master. “It will be as you have commanded, Lord Aizen.” He raised his head. “If Tervaden insists on the woman or child receiving no backlash, there is another way with which punishment may sink in.”
When Aizen waved him on, he continued. “In some of the literature I have read, when someone is of highs status or in another way above physical punishment, there was a person who took the punishment in their place, someone who lived close to them. This person would receive the punishment while Kita - or the child - would witness the punishment given and then tend to the person afterwards. The punishment given would become twofold in return for her - and the child’s - immunity.”
The Fourth paused. “But I would not recommend that person being the Noble.”
“The reason being?” Aizen prompted.
“The vessel and noble are at odds. Putting them in that kind of situation may mend the relationship that is now broken and causes pain to the vessel.”
Aizen chuckled with another smirk. "If it comes to that, we will see which person is best for the task." He turned and left the room.
Ulquiorra rose from his position and turned to his bookshelf.
