"Don't Judge a Book by its Cover":
After Ulquiorra had locked them in the room, Kita and Sojiro had made themselves comfortable on the couch together. Sojiro climbing up in his mothers lap as she cradled him in her arms. They talked until Sojiro started yawning, his mother coxing him to get a little rest. Finally agreeing after his sixth yawn his mother hummed a song to him softly as she rocked him to sleep. Letting her fingers softly comb through his silky silver hair, she watched him sleep in her arms, her mind drifting back to so many years before; to a time she was trying hard to forget, but never could.
She smiled, cried and even giggled softly hoping not to wake Sojiro. Though, her most precious memories were of the time Sojiro was created and when she and Gin spent the day together in the Godly realm talking about names for their little bundle of joy. There were others that stayed fresh in her mind, many she would never forget, but she did have to admit with all that happened to her and the hell she lived through and saw. The good memories outweighed the bad, thanks to her beloved, and best friend. Without them she would have never survived Las Noches or Aizen, even with the Goddess on her side.
Looking down at her her little man in her arms, she pulled him close and stood slowly, walking over to the bed. There she laid him, covering him with one of the blankets on the bed. She then looked around the room, spotting a door. The bathroom, she hoped. Making a path to it she opened the door. Her hunch was correct. She stepped in the room closing the door behind her to shower and get cleaned up.
When she was finished and drying off Kita realized there were no clean clothes for her to change into. With a sigh, she finished drying off and wrapped one of the big white towels around her and exited the room. Across the room on the other side of the bed was a tall dresser like closet, she followed her feet over to it opening it up. Sure enough Espada uniforms one for her and a smaller one for Sojiro. She sighed again shaking her head.
"Someone really need to get a scene of fashion around here." She spoke softly to herself.
Once she was dressed she looked down at the outfit. It was a long dress with a slightly flared skirt and formfitting top that covered her her from her neck to her ankles. It had no sleeves and zipped at the side. It did have a slight plunge in the neck line that was shaped like an upside down spade, the small collar turned up covering her neck. With it was a haori that stopped about mid-thigh with sheer, large billowing sleeves.
Kita giggled softly, she swore if they were not see-through she would have been able to hide Sojiro in just one of the sleeves. She looked to the boots still on the floor wrinkling her nose.
"We will have to have Ulquiorra fix that." Kita picked them up and put them away.
She then turned, looking at the door Ulquiorra told them that if they needed him all they had to do was knock on it and he would answer it. With quick steps Kita walked across the cold marble floor in her bare feet. Once in front of the door, she pulled her toes up placing one foot on top of the other and knocked. As she waited she shivered wrapping her arms around her she rubbed her arms quickly.
"Burrrr..." Kita said softly.
