7th Division, Seireitei-Rukongai Diplomacy- The 7th Division maintains peace between Seireitei and Rukongai. They make sure shinigami don't go causing chaos in Seireitei, and are completely responsible for keeping Rukongai civil… or at least the area closest to Seireitei. When souls have complaints/suggestions/questions/etc, whatever, their sent to the 7th Division where it is read, ignored, taken into consideration, and decided upon. They often act on their own, but also work with various other divisions. |

"His Return and Good News":Ryo walked tothe office of the Seventh Division. She was curious. The news of Captain Komamura's return had been circulating around the barracks. And, she wanted to see for herself - The werewolf among the men...Among the Captains of the Gotei 13. She stood at the door ready to knock, when it opened. The door slid open and Komamura stepped out, having to stoop to clear the doorway.

Sajin rubbed his ear and pulled out a loose brown hair, as he stepped from the doorway. He rolled the loose hair between his finger tips before letting it float away in the faint breeze. "Captain Hirabayashi, I take it." He brought his fist together and bowed. He rose from his bow, only to see his fellow Captain wide-eyed with a slight tremble. He smiled gently and reached for his ear again. "My size can be quite overwhelming. You will used to it."

Ryo lifted her head all the way back, still unable to see Komamaru's face. She backed up. "Over...whelming, yes." Komamaru laughed and placed his hand on her shoulder, his touch surprisingly gentle. "I apologize for staring, Captain Komamura." She bowed. "I was..." She looked up again. "I was on my way to see the Captain Commander."

"Excellent! I'll go with you." Sajin slid the door closed behind him, after inviting Hirabayashi in. "Do you mind if I accompany you? I have to speak with him, as well." Hirabayashi nodded and took a step back. "Does my appearance frighten you, Captain?"

Ryo adjusted her haori. "No. Your size does." She entered Komamaru's office and looked up as he stood before her. "I had heard that you were quite large. But, I had no idea how large you were." Ryo laughed and ran her fingers through her hair. "Again, forgive me for staring."
"It's quite alright, Captain. I am rather used to it." he explained.
Ryo nodded. "I am a bit late in giving my report to the Captain Commander. We have a new captain for the Eighth."
"Oh?"
"Yes. The newly appointed Captain Tsukiro Ashimitsu. He is also head of the Stealth Force. He will have quite a bit on his plate. But, I am sure he can handle it."

"Well that is excellent news to hear," the captain commander called out, approaching them from the entrance of the seventh division. He smiled at both of the captains. "I am glad to see you're able to return to us, Komamura. People need to have something to stare at besides me and my perfect kimono. Hirabayashi, I look forward to hearing the full report."

Both Ryo and Komamaru turned to face the Captain Commander. Both bowed. "You will have my full report by days end, Sir." Ryo glanced over and smiled at Konamaru. "Your kimono is very nice, Captain Commander. But, I am quite sure that is not why people stare at you." She winked and raised her hand in a drinking motion.

Sajin brought his fist together and bowed. "I apologize for my absence, Sir." He laughed at Hirabayashi's comment. "Still hitting the sake, huh?" He reached out and patted the Captain Commander's shoulder. "Save some for the rest of us, why don't you!"

Shunsui chuckled. "If I saved some for you, Sajin, there wouldn't be any left for any of us," he returned in a playful tone, tipping his hat. "Get up off the floor, both of you, and let's hear what you wanted to say to me. I imagine it wasn't just about our favorite baby captain."

Sajin ran his fingers through his silver hair. "During my travels, I heard rumors of turmoil in Las Noches. Sousuke Aizen has lost the trust of Gin Ichimaru. It seems the man has a talent for defecting." Sajin looked down at the Captain Commander. "This could present a problem. If he's defected from Aizen, where will he go? And, will he seek us out?"

The captain commander sighed, lowering his hat over his eyes. “I am aware of that situation,” he murmured. “The goddess which resides inside Kita visited our favorite shopkeeper after he succeeded in capturing Azayaka. She all but confirmed my suspicions in a certain matter.” He walked over to the window, looking out at the division practicing outside.
“What would those suspicions be?” Sajin asked.
The captain commander remained quiet, knowing that most would be highly unhappy at what he could reveal.
“Captain Commander,” Ryo called out, “is Ichimaru a threat?”
He sighed and turned around. “I will explain what I can at a captain’s meeting in a few days’ time,” he stated. “In addition to the Gotei 13, I will invite Kisuke Urahara and both Kurosakis.” He lowered his hat again. “Maybe it is time to reveal all the pieces on the board, even if they aren’t always favorable.”

Ryo shook her head. "Is a strike against the Soul Society something we should fear?" She looked to the Captain Commander as he peered out the window. "Do you really believe that he would try again?"
Ryo looked to Komamaru as he folded his arms across his chest. "It is Sousuke Aizen. Any attempt to remain a step ahead, would be futile." he said. "The most we can do, is prepare for what may come."
"We've faced him before." said Ryo. "We know what to expect." Ryo looked to the Captain Commander again. "Yes?"

"Sousuke isn't likely to send an actual attack here, and neither is his former protege," Shunsui repeated in a louder voice. "It is the shop that holds his daughter. If he intends to make another threat towards us before long, it will be there."

"Then that is where we need to focus our efforts." Ryo stood and walked towards the Captain Commander. "Not that I doubt Kisuke Urahara's ability to protect his dwelling. But, this is Sousuke Aizen we are speaking of. We should expect anything and everything."
