Sajin growled loudly, his fangs bared. He swung wildly at the Captain Commander, and slammed his fists into the floor boards. "Leave. Me. Alone!" He grabbed the Captain Commander by the neck. "Please..." he muttered, covering his face with his free hand.

Shunsui sighed and tilted his hat up. “Sorry, puppy, I can’t do that.” He grabbed a hold of Sajin’s hand on his throat and twisted. Using a combination of a tricky zap of kido and altering the hold, he freed himself and then winked. “Apologies.” He raised his hand to the werewolf’s head and flung him back into a wall.
Walking forward, he put his hand on Sajin’s zanpakuto, keeping it locked in place. “She’s alive, Sajin. She’s recovering well actually. In addition, what happened on the battlefield was not your fault. It was the espada’s. Tearing yourself up about it is not going to help Karin or you, only the enemy." He paused as the golden eyes narrowed, shaking off the shock of the throw. "An enemy, might I add, that is leaderless, captain. Sousuke Aizen is dead."

Tears streamed down Sajin's face. "I...I didn't mean it." He slide down the wall until he sat on the floor. "And, Aizen...Dead? Since when? How?" He brushed the hair from his face, as he kept his narrowed eyes on the Captain Commander. "This...I don't believe you! You're just trying to make me... Leave me alone!" Sajin howled the lunged at the Captain Commander, shoulder first.

Shunsui leaped back, standing on his chair and then stepped off, kicking it up and pushing against it, using the chair as a shield and a brace at the same time, locking Sajin’s arm for a moment with the strong legs. His eyes narrowed. “Would I joke about something like this, Sajin?” he murmured, eyes like stone. “Sousuke kidnapped my lieutenant and a woman who was under my personal protection. His daughter strangled my best friend, who is the kindest man alive, save yourself. It's only thanks to the goddess he's not coughing blood and helpless against his disease yet again right now.”
With a blast of Kido, Shunsui destroyed the chair and forced Sajin once again against the wall. “Karin Kurosaki is no fool. She would NOT blame you. Neither will Isshin or Ichigo. Snap out of this,” the captain commander growled, the look in his eye reminiscent of his teacher. “You’re falling into their trap, Sajin Komamura.”

"Trap?" growled Sajin. "I would never..." He slammed his shaking fists into the floor. Looking to the Captain Commander then to Hirabayashi, Sajin frowned and sighed heavily. "Ryo...What have I done?" He raised his hands and clenched his fists, trying to still himself. Hirabyashi walked over, taking one of his hands in hers. She smiled warmly as he rested his head against the wall.
"Tell me, Captain...What you say is true? Sousuke Aizen is dead?"

Shunsui nodded, sitting on top of the desk. "I sent the hell butterflies out before I came here," he stated. "Sousuke Aizen was killed by Gin Ichimaru at Urahara's Shop. The witnesses are Lieutenant Namori, Tessai Former Kido Corps Captain, and Kita Miyamoto. His body was taken by the same espada we were talking about earlier."

Sajin stood, pulling his hand from Hirabayashi's and walked towards the Captain Commander. He turned and faced Hirabayashi. "I...I am sorry, Ryo...Captain Hirabayashi." He brought his fists together and bowed. "Captain Commander..." Sajin brushed his hair off of his face and looked at his scratched and bleeding hand. "I am unfit...for my seat..." He hung his head as the Captain Commander raised his hand to him.

“You are more than fit, Komamura,” the commander murmured. “Yamamoto did not renounce anyone’s title when we nearly lost Hinamori-chan in the last war.” He stroked his chin. “Even Hitsugaya-kun who was in even worse straights than you. It was something unavoidable. Both now and then. You’re captains because you can overcome those obstacles. Needing help out of a situation that robs you of hope,” and here he looked to Ryo, recalling his last two close calls, “is nothing to be ashamed about.” Shunsui rose from the desk. “It looks like you need a new chair, Sajin,” he called over, taking his hat from the guest chair and setting it on his head. “If you are in need for someone to fashion a new one for you, I will. I myself have an ancient desk I need to repair or replicate before Yama-jii rises from his grave and boxes my ears.” The commander drew on his haori. “Mistakes are part of life, Captain Sajin Komamura. You should know that by now. What sets us apart is how we deal with said errors.”
Shunsui retrieved his kimono and draped it over his shoulders. “I will be in my office and there are a few healers outside for your hand or any bumps from our skirmish.” He winked. “Get off the floor already, or you’ll start looking like a rug.” Chuckling, the captain commander nodded to Captain Hirabayashi and left the room. A few minutes later, whistling reached their ears.

Sajin stepped forward and covered Hirabayashi's ears as he howled loudly. He looked down at the petite woman standing before him and smiled warmly. "Thank you, Ryo..."Hirabayashi shook her head. "Thank the Captain Commander." "But, you stayed with me." His hand drifted towards the wound on her arm and his eyes widened. "Are you alright?" Hirabayashi turned away from him as he flopped to the floor. Hirabayashi chuckled."My puppy's a rug." she replied with a smile. "That's not funny, Ryo." Sajin grabbed Hirabayashi's haori and pulled her close. He closed his eyes and smiled as she scratched behind his ear.Hirabayashi laughed as he began to hum. "You are such a puppy." She kissed his forehead and walked towards the door. "Meet me at my training facility when you're cleaned up. I think a bit of sparring will do you some good." Sajin nodded as Hirabayashi left his office and slid the door shut. He sat by himself a bit longer, before whistling for his dog Goro. He picked the small dog up and smiled. He stood from his seat on the floor and made his way towards the door, where the remainder of Captain Kotetsu's men waited for him.-END RP-

"Embedded Memories":Ryo thumbed through a book she had pulled from a bookshelf, stopping every few pages. She mumbled to herself as she quickly skimmed the pages she would stop on. Closing the book, she turning to Captain Komamura, who was sitting at his desk tending to paperwork. "Do you mind if I borrow this? I can't find my copy."

Sajin looked up from his paperwork, setting his pen to the side. He leaned back in his chair and rubbed his ear. "You can have it. It's your copy anyway." The sound of the chair creaking beneath his weight, made Sajin sit up straight in his seat.
"How is your leg holding up?" he asked, picking up his pen and starting his paperwork again. "Still feeling pain, every now and again?"

Ryo shook her head as she reached down to rub her leg. "Captain Kotetsu keeps assuring me that what damage that was done, has been completely healed."
"But?" asked Komamura.
"The pain is still there." Ryo walked over to the desk and placed the book on its edge. Taking a seat in the chair in front of the desk, she sighed heavily and continued to rub her leg. "The pain will pass, I suppose. Hopefully, some training with Sekijouten will help. Happy to have Tenken back?"

Sajin nodded, acknowledging Hiyabayashi's question, while still deep in paperwork. "I am sure we are all happy to have our zanpakuto back." He stopped, setting his pen atop the pile of paperwork. "I have heard rumor, some of the lower seated officers were not so fortunate to have the return of their zanpakuto. It seems the spirits residing in the zanpakuto did not take kindly to being sealed. Many, I have heard, are only releasing a fraction of their power." He sighed heavily and looked at his fellow Captain, her smile always comforting. "The last few months have been trying. It won't get any easier for quite some time, I fear."

Ryo nodded in agreement. She reached across the desk, resting her hand on his. "We will get through this, Sajin. The Gotei 13, we are not weak. Tervaden's attack were meant to destroy us. It didn't work. We will get through this." She smile gently and sat back in her chair. "Tervaden...What do remember of him?"

Sajin's face grew serious at the question, a low growl rising from his belly. "My predecessor." he began. "He attacked his division with no warning or reasoning. Then...disappeared." His low growl grew louder as he continued. "That is, until he reappeared at Aizen's side. Then, at the helm of these last attacks, in Aizen's stead."
Hirabayashi pulled a small piece of rolled paper from her sleeve and handed it to Sajin. "I take it, you feel like the rest of us then? His being human now, is a ruse."
Sajin took the paper from her and unrolled it. He nodded as he glanced over the paper. "Where did you get this?"
